It has always been my dream to go on a dude ranch vacation. WOW, did I pick the right dude ranch!!! The Covered Wagon Ranch has far exceeded my expectations. Kurt and Melissa run a top notch, first class ranch. From the time you arrive until the very moment you leave you are part of the ranch family. Very sweet Miss Hannah will greet you upon arrival and give you a tour of the ranch then she will show you to your cabin. The cabins are very, very clean and oh so cozy. You will have a meet & greet Sunday evening at the ranch house where you will meet the other guest that will be part of your family for the week. The meals are all served family style and the food is absolutely delicious. I have never seen a more hard working kitchen crew who are all very attentive of your every need. The horseback riding is simply out of this world. The barn crew is another group of hard working individuals who welcome you with open arms. They match you to right horse who will be your horse for the week. The horses are all very healthy and are extremely well taken care of. There are simply no words or pictures to describe the daily horseback riding adventures your personal wrangler takes you on.
