Ladies from Chinook ,Turner, and Hayes Montana, had a wonderful time at the Grand Union Hotel as our Alliance women celebrated Christ and His lineage. We were treated like Queens, pampered by the staff and the wonderful new chef. What fun we had. I hope we can return there next year. Some experienced the extra fun of finding and taking photos of the friendly people of Fort Benton, there was laughter all around town.
Make your plans to enjoy this wonderful historic hotel. Judy S

Thank you for the positive review – we all greatly appreciate the kudos! The Grand Union Staff strives to give the best customer service and we are happy that we hit such a high mark with your group. We enjoyed hearing all of the laughter, songs and witnessing the camaraderie between the ladies from your group; and the scavenger hunt was a big hit with the locals, as well. As far as we are concerned, you cannot come back soon enough. Thank you again!

What an amazing gem nestled right in the heart of Montana! The Grand Union combines elegance and five-star service with the charming, warm hospitality Montana is known for. The guest rooms are well-appointed, impressively clean, and very comfortable. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the dining experience is first-rate. The gorgeous river views, lovely accommodations, and historic charm make the Grand Union a must-visit, and a worthy destination all on its own.

Room Tip: While the river side rooms are all beautiful, corner Suite 206 on the street-side has three floor-to-ceiling windows, views of both Front Street & the River, a beautiful jetted tub, a seating area, and is very spacious. I visited nearly every room in the hotel, and not one of them was anything less than lovely, inviting, and comfortable.

I can't convey how gracious the entire staff was all weekend while I and 39 of my closest friends invaded the Hotel and Restaurant for a ladies' retreat. From the owner to the maid, chef to waitstaff, they bent over backwards to make us feel comfortable and pampered. We should do this every year!

You absolutely should do this particular event every year; it was so much fun to be your hosts!

The staff at the Grand Union hosted 42 ladies at our Women's Retreat and the staff treated each of us like a queen! We were served the most exquisite meals, had the most beautiful views, wonderful comfy rooms and the staff bent over backward to insure that we had the most wonderful experience! The food was AMAZING! I cannot wait for next year's trip!

This hotel is delightful. It was our first stop on our 'road-trip honeymoon'. The room was beautifully restored with a lovely view of the river. We enjoyed two meals during our stay (dinner and breakfast) and saying the food is 'gourmet' doesn't even do it justice. I have never in my life had food so exquisite and flavourful!

The only downside to our stay was the heater in our room. It would only kick on once the room became quite cold, and then it would blast until the room became extremely warm. This cycle repeated all night. I am not sure if it was an issue with the unit or the users (us). We enjoyed our stay nevertheless.
