Riverside Motel & Cabins RV Park

We showed up with two 43 ft. RV's and a van pulling a camper. We also rented the old general store cabin and another cabin by the main office. All amenities were great and we could walk to town for shopping and the 4th of July parade. We also went to the rodeo, which was about a 5 minute drive. We enjoyed the facilities as well as our fellow campers. The service was great from the staff too. I would recommend the Riverside Motel to anyone!!!

Room Tip: Keep the doors shut in the summer evenings as the bugs can sneak in.

On our way from Yellowstone to Virginia city, we found ,with help of the Visitor Centre in W.Yellowstone, this motel in Ennis. After the busy park and seeing all the hotels in West Yellowstone we were looking for a quiet place. And we found it in Ennis. We had one of the newer cabins, with porch, - very good beds and bathroom. clean and a good price. There is a garden were you can sit and enjoy the surroundings, but be quiet the deers are enjoying the apples from the garden, and we didn't want to disturb them. Ennis is a little countrytown, where will you find a place, where a deer jumps over tables with glasses on it, not one felt, while eating your dinner?

We have stayed at the Riverside for our past three trips to Ennis Montana. We like the fact that you can get room with a cook top a microwave and a refrigerator. It is convenient to cook our meals and we have also used the grill to cook dinner. Riverside is our go to place. The location is great to take a walk down main street to visit the local businesses. We will continue to stay at Riverside when in Ennis.

Room Tip: Especially like the rooms that have the appliances to do some cooking since we stay for a least a we...

This motel sits close to the Madison River, and I use it for guests who are staying overnight or longer. It is small, quiet, and while the decor is older, it is a well-preserved old-style "motor inn" of the old days. It is quiet, clean as a whistle, and reasonably priced. Very nice.

Nice and clean motel with very friendly hospitable host. We enjoyed our stay here August 26th; the room was clean, bed comfortable. tv, wifi. Enjoyed drinking coffe on the porch early in the morning and watching a deer eat apples out of a tree on the property. As the name implies, it is right by the Madison River and there's a nice park for kids. Short walk into restaurants, shopping in Ennis. I would definitely stay here again.

The location is great! You just walk a few steps to downtown Ennis. The cabins were small, cooking area very old and small. Bathroom didn't have any space for makeup bag...no hair dryer!! We were there to relax and the only place to sit was on the bed or in hard chairs. It was uncomfortable. The beds weren't very big and weren't very firm. Gave us a bad recommendation for eating dinner! It has a very nice walking area next door at the park. We saw lots of deer and that was fun!

Room Tip: Maybe the log cabins would have been nicer. They looked newer in the back of the facility.

I wish I had a good way of painting a picture of this place for you but you have to see it yourself. What I can tell you is that it is an eclectic mix of like little cabins and houses lined up in rows right next to the river fishing pond for the kids (the owner even offered poles and bait) and that is what makes the place cool. They seem real small outside but are quite large on the inside. They make perfect use of the space and you have everything you need. I really like that we had three beds available so the kids had their own bed and believe me that is a huge bonus. Lot's of windows to let the fresh air in and the place was nice and quiet. After checking in the owner called and asked if we could switch to the room next to ours for some reason. We did so with no problem and ended up with a nicer room if you ask me. To top that off the owner stops by the room to thank us and gives us $20 for our trouble! How do you like that customer service? Guess where we will be staying from now on?
