“Paradise Gateway”
Reviewed August 21, 2013

Outstanding property. We have been spending 4 to 5 days at Paradise Gateway for the past 5 summers and will be going back for more. It is a wonderful location on the Yellowstone river and Carol and Pete Reed are very gracious hosts. We have always found the accommodations to be clean and very nicely decorated. We stayed once at their location at River Bend (about a mile down the road), which is also very nice.

Room Tip: They are all nice.

This lovely property on the banks of the Yellowstone River is a gem. We stayed due to location, but would definitely return. Pete and Carol are the proprietors but you feel like family. The food is so wonderful, Carol is a great cook! We ate breakfast and not again until at least 3:30-4:00 each day. You can fish, walk the area and the proximity to Yellowstone is quite convenient. Pete is very helpful and knows a great deal about the park. The daily ice-cream, french pressed coffee or tea each evening and the campfire was also so nice. We stayed in the blueberry room-quite comfortable with lovely view. Great books and reading materials about the area.

This was our first time at a B&B and it was such a great experience. The scenery is breathtaking, the house and landscaping beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated. Carol and Pete are warm, welcoming, interesting, informative and helpful. Pete is very knowledgeable about the area and Yellowstone. His advice was right on and we got to see all that we wanted to see. Carol is an excellent cook and made beautiful, deliciously unique two course breakfasts each day. The conversations at breakfast were friendly, interesting and engaging. Tamica is very helpful and attentive and truly spoiled us. We can highly recommend this B&B. Do not miss an opportunity to stay with these kind folks!!!

Room Tip: We chose the Blueberry Room and it was large, clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the mou...

We stayed 2 nights (not long enough) at the Eagles Nest private home. Very luxurious, with a stunning view of the Yellowstone River and Rocky Mountains. Very well equipped kitchen allowed us to take a break from restaurants. We couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. We had complete privacy and it was great to be able to do our laundry. We definitely plan to go back and stay here again!

We stopped here after a week of daily, energetic riding at a dude ranch. We wanted to just hang out somewhere nice and get rested up before continuing on to tour Yellowstone and the Beartooth highway. We hit the jackpot here and stayed two nights. The B & B is beautiful. Our room (Wildfire) and common areas were comfortable and spacious. Pete and Carol Were enjoyable hosts with an eye for quality, service and detail. The breakfasts were bountiful and quite special, plus coffee, snacks, ice cream, etc. through the day.) Their 20 acres sit right on the Yellowstone river with attractive tranquil spots to relax. They were generous with their knowledgeable traveling and Yellowstone advice, and they made dinner reservations for us nearby, but were not at all salesy. All in all, it was a great place to relax and enjoy Paradise Valley. It was close to the Park, too. We'd go back.

My partner and I rented the Wildflower room in the Paradise Gateway bed and breakfast in Emigrant MT located on the Yellowstone river. This is the best B&B I have experienced! Thrilling views of the Absaroka mountains, Osprey nesting on site, home cooked gourmet breakfast each morning at 8, engaging hosts with deep local knowledge and great advice on what to do and see in the Paradise valley and Yellowstone park; the advice on where to park at Old Faithful was right on. Quiet, comfortable surroundings, tasteful and interesting decor. A luxury shower. Morning coffee or tea and evening ice cream was served in a shared library and sitting room. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Yellowstone Meadow Cabin, located right on the Yellowstone River. The cabin had tons of room, beautiful views, wonderfully equipped kitchen, was clean, and very cozy. This was the perfect escape from the busy touring we did throughout our stay in Montana and Wyoming. Pete and Carol were wonderfully welcoming and extremely helpful, they couldn't have been better to us!!! You will not regret staying here! Not sure when we will return to the West, but when we do, this is where we will stay!

Room Tip: The Yellowstone Meadow Cabin had enough room for 6 easily, with room to spread out!
