“Great Place!”
Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

We stayed 2 nights (not long enough) at the Eagles Nest private home. Very luxurious, with a stunning view of the Yellowstone River and Rocky Mountains. Very well equipped kitchen allowed us to take a break from restaurants. We couldn't have been happier with the entire experience. We had complete privacy and it was great to be able to do our laundry. We definitely plan to go back and stay here again!

We stopped here after a week of daily, energetic riding at a dude ranch. We wanted to just hang out somewhere nice and get rested up before continuing on to tour Yellowstone and the Beartooth highway. We hit the jackpot here and stayed two nights. The B & B is beautiful. Our room (Wildfire) and common areas were comfortable and spacious. Pete and Carol Were enjoyable hosts with an eye for quality, service and detail. The breakfasts were bountiful and quite special, plus coffee, snacks, ice cream, etc. through the day.) Their 20 acres sit right on the Yellowstone river with attractive tranquil spots to relax. They were generous with their knowledgeable traveling and Yellowstone advice, and they made dinner reservations for us nearby, but were not at all salesy. All in all, it was a great place to relax and enjoy Paradise Valley. It was close to the Park, too. We'd go back.

My partner and I rented the Wildflower room in the Paradise Gateway bed and breakfast in Emigrant MT located on the Yellowstone river. This is the best B&B I have experienced! Thrilling views of the Absaroka mountains, Osprey nesting on site, home cooked gourmet breakfast each morning at 8, engaging hosts with deep local knowledge and great advice on what to do and see in the Paradise valley and Yellowstone park; the advice on where to park at Old Faithful was right on. Quiet, comfortable surroundings, tasteful and interesting decor. A luxury shower. Morning coffee or tea and evening ice cream was served in a shared library and sitting room. Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Yellowstone Meadow Cabin, located right on the Yellowstone River. The cabin had tons of room, beautiful views, wonderfully equipped kitchen, was clean, and very cozy. This was the perfect escape from the busy touring we did throughout our stay in Montana and Wyoming. Pete and Carol were wonderfully welcoming and extremely helpful, they couldn't have been better to us!!! You will not regret staying here! Not sure when we will return to the West, but when we do, this is where we will stay!

Room Tip: The Yellowstone Meadow Cabin had enough room for 6 easily, with room to spread out!

Our family rented the three bedroom, three bathroom, dual kitchen and living room Trout House in Emigrant, Montana about 30 miles north of Yellowstone’s northern entrance. What a treat. The house, owned and operated by Paradise Gateway, is just wonderful. Everything was beautifully appointed, well-kept, and comfortable. The house sits along the river and there are views of mountains on both sides. If you like horses, they keep four beauties in the barn across the driveway (they are sweet, well cared for and gorgeous). The owners are accessible and make sure that all of the details are accounted for: comfortable linens, plenty of towels, sturdy stoneware and utensils, coffee pots, coffee beans (and grinder) and accouterments. There is plenty of parked and some shared facilities (with the other two attached rentals) such as washer and dryer and outdoor fire pit (neither of which we used). We also enjoyed staying in Emigrant because of its proximity to both Yellowstone and Livingston, MT. There is also a fantastic bakery in Emigrant that uses locally grown products and makes everything from scratch. We ate there every day (not many other choices). All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at the Trout House and recommend any of the Paradise Gateway accommodations for couples, families, extended families, and people traveling with friends.

We were not ready to leave!! The Lodge at River's Bend is so incredible it makes it hard to go home! All the things we needed to cook and enjoy our time together as a family were there. Time to relax as well as time to explore. And enjoying a roaring fire in the fireplace in the middle of June -- unheard of in Memphis!

There were four adults and one 9 month old baby -- and the lodge was perfection! Enough space for everyone to enjoy and do so in comfort. The kitchen -- AH-Mazing!!! If you like to cook for your family - everything you need is there!!! We weren't impressed with the restaurant food in the area so we cooked at 'home' The grill outside for steaks and the oven inside for pancakes and all the other stuff -- worked like a charm!

The whole place just screams "STAY LONGER" !!! Wish we could have!

P.S. the only surprise was the distance to Yellowstone. It is minutes away -- but about 30 of them. Which is fine if you know that =) and Pete was super helpful with ideas and directions etc.

Excellent place - superb lodging and spectacular people!!

Thank you!
