Our stay with Carol and Pete Reed at the Paradise Gateway B&B was our best experience ever! Not only did Carol serve the best breakfasts, but Pete helped us plan our outings at Yellowstone; Carol lined up visits to local ranches and trout fishing. They also hosted campfires each evening by the Yellowstone River (a stone's throw from the B&B) and in general were friendly hosts. We highly recommend the Paradise Gateway B&B!

Room Tip: both guest rooms have views of the Yellowstone River.

Awesome place to stay. The cottages have everything you could possibly need for a vacation. Carol and Pete made us feel like family. We took 2 trips to the park with Pete, the best idea ever!!! We loved it here and plan to return.

We spent three incredible nights at the "Yellowstone Meadow Cabin." My family found the cabin extremely clean, warm, and welcoming inside. The view from the screened in porch and large window in the living room was just beautiful. From the screened in porch, and living room, the view of Electric Peak and the Yellowstone River is worth the half hour trip from the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The cabin was our home away from home. We stopped in Gardiner and bought groceries to cook dinners and have breakfast each day...worked out perfect!

Pete and Carol were extremely helpful and friendly. Carol told us about a 4th of July parade in Livingston that was truly worth the drive. They are available to answer any questions and are happy to do so. Carol gave us a nice half gallon of chocolate ice cream to enjoy in our cabin too! Carol also called us at the cabin to let us know about two giant rainbows across the sky after a nice rain storm. We were already outside and enjoying the beautiful sky and missed the call, but little gestures like that say a lot about how they treat guests.

The only downside to our visit was our expectation of a bit more space to ourselves. The website talks about privacy, and Pete and Carol do leave you alone, but in the Yellowstone Meadow Cabin you are only about a 45 second walk to the main house. It's not as secluded as we had hoped. We had the impression we would be off by ourselves and a ways away from other cabins/people. Also, the view out of the screened in porch and living room is spectacular but is a bit interrupted by the summer workers' 5th wheel trailer. It doesn't block the view or anything but it would be nice to look out at the view and not see a 5th wheel trailor out by the river. It would be nice if it was moved more towards the rear of the property. These two items are the only two issues we had at the cabin.

We took away wonderful memories from our stay at the cabin and left already talking about our return and possibly trying a different cabin a little further away from the main house. We would love to come back in the fall or possibly spring and enjoy all that this wonderful place offers....

I cannot say enough about the serenity and beauty of Paradise Gateway. The staff and owners could not be more charming to their guests and I want to thank them all for taking me away from the hustle and bustle of New York City! Starting from the amazing homemade breakfast to the smores around the riverside firepit...I found my place in Montana! Now when I am living the rat race life style, I can dream of my time spent in Paradise and anticipate my next visit. Get ready Reeds, I will be coming back!! Thank you again. Cherrie

You can't go wrong staying here. Pete and Carol are ideal hosts and provide all kinds of Yellowstone expertise. Pete helped us plan out each day's activities. We stayed in the B&B, and the breakfasts were almost surreal--multiple courses, all delicious. Pete and Carol have a way of extending a welcome that is warm, friendly, yet nonintrusive. We absolutely loved our stay here.

We'd stopped here for a night on the way out of Yellowstone on route to South Dakota (because only the west and north entrances are open in early may). Yellowstone was great at this time of year - there was lots of snow on the ground but the roads were well cleared where they had been 'opened' for summer. The B&B was in a beautiful location with the river at the end of the garden. Would love to go back to go to try Paradise rafting (http://paradiserafting.com/ - we met the owners and they were lovely but we didn't have time to give it a try) and to try the paddle and saddle option (we were hoping to go horse riding in custer state park in south dakota but think it would have been lots nicer to try it in montana with the beautiful open countryside). While we were there the B&B's owners were away and their neighbours were there staying over to help out. We had such a wonderful warm welcome and watched a dvd in the lovely comfy living room with a complimentary bottle of wine. Great comfy room and fab new bathroom too. Best breakfast in the whole of our US trip too - omelette, souffle etc etc and great conversation!

Great memories of our recent trip to YNP. We stayed in the Emigrant Peak Cabin, what wan we say? We loved it, it was exactly what we expected for our first trip to YNP, super comfortable, it had all we needed, the view was amazing, we even had our "own" deer wondering around and an Osprey that put a show flying from her nest to the river to the trees. We enjoyed Pete and Carol's hospitality, friendliness, and suggestions on things to do while not spending time in the park. Carol, thank you for the vanilla ice cream and chocolate cake, just delicious.
