I booked The Cottages at Glacier for one week on the eastern side of Glacier Park.
This location and the vistas were beyond belief. Everywhere you looked you had
beautiful majestic views. The owners and managers Sally and Terry were always
available and on site for anything we needed. They were able to give the history, recommend hikes, rafting trips, restaurants and many other options we could have
while we were there. The cottage we stayed in was beautifully furnished, immaculate
and fully equipped. You could just sit on your private deck and relax with a good
book and the wonderful views. The hikes in Glacier Park were wonderful with beautiful views, vegetation, and animal life. I came home feeling healthier mentally and physically. I am already looking forward to booking again for next year. Thank you Sally and Terry!!!
Gunsight #333 was a great home-away-from-home, allowing us to explore the East side of Glacier National Park for the first half of our trip. Plenty of space for 2 adults and two children along with all the comfort and amenities needed. Best of all was the gorgeous view right off the back deck! And, right down the hill is the Curly Bear Cafe where we enjoyed ice cream (including huckleberry!) each night of our 3-night stay!
Our stay at the Cottages in East Glacier couldn’t have been better. There were 5 of us in the cottage and we were so comfortable. From the first moment we walked in, experiencing the spectacular view over the lake, we were just delighted. Everything about the cottage was great, the hosts are wonderful, friendly and helpful. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Our family of five stayed at the Triple Divide cabin (the largest of The Cottages at Glacier) for four nights on a visit to Glacier National Park and Waterton-Lakes National Park in July 2019. GNP is our 22nd national park visit, so it is no small thing that my family unanimously voted Triple Divide as the nicest of our accommodations so far. The picturesque views from every room, but especially the large open kitchen/living/gathering area, make you feel as if you are staying inside the park. We enjoyed dining al fresco on the deck in the evenings and even did some stargazing one night, though the sun doesn't set until after 9:30! Triple Divide was a perfect location for the east side of the park and driving into Alberta and Waterton-Lakes for a day. We returned "home" to comfortable beds, nice clean bathrooms, the ability to do our laundry in the cabin, and a large well-stocked kitchen to cook our own meals. Note to Catholics: St. Mary's mission church is just 9 minutes north up the main highway and offers an 11 a.m. Mass/communion service on Sundays.
It's perfect. The view, the amenities, the wifi, the kitchen, the location to the country store and gas station, local restaurants, the fireplace that starts with a flip of the switch, the cleanliness, the owners, everything. Like i said, it's perfect.
This was a perfect rental in a perfect location. The owners thought of everything to make this stay perfect. I have never had so many towels and wash clothes available in any place I have ever rented. The cottage has an amazing view and is so close to the park!!
We loved our stay at The Cottages at Glacier. The cottages were well designed, classic and welcoming. And THE VIEW was amazing!! We had people in our group who wanted to be hiking all day and some who needed to hang back with small children or grandparents, and this location met all our needs. Thank you for accommodating our special requests, being flexible, and creating this great place for our family to enjoy time together.
