We enjoyed our stay at the Cottages very much. Sally and Terry provided everything one could need for our stay. Sally helped us with our preparation to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed every minute here in the area. They even thought of bear spray. We are grateful for your hospitality and for opening up the cottage so late in the season. Thank you!
I can't recommend The Cottages at Glacier highly enough! The Cottage was commodious for two couples. It was well-stocked and very comfortable; beautiful views of the mountains and valley from our window. We only made breakfast in the Cottage, but cooking would definitely be an option for those inclined. The beds were comfortable for our friends and my husband (probably for most people). I need a very firm mattress for a bad back; it was great to have the sofa bed to use as an additional option, so I was very comfortable, too. We loved the gas fireplace in the living room. Terry gave us great advice for hiking, and to view wildlife in the evening! great stay!
Found this property as a drop in on our way to Glacier National Park. Clean, comfortable and just about perfect for 4 adults traveling together.
The cottage is on the east side of Glacier, close to St Mary's entrance. Great location. The cottage was really nice, fully stocked kitchen and amenities. Terry and Sally were personable, even lent us some bear spray. The only down side was the smoke from the wildfires
We loved our stay at the cottages of Glacier! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. Excellent Montana coffee was even provided for the coffee maker. The location is excellent for accessing Glacier National Park. We woke early each morning and headed into the park for a day of hiking. It was an awesome trip!
The Cottages at Glacier are located a stone's throw from the St. Mary entrance to Glacier Park. You can easily walk to the park entrance and get on the Going to the Sun shuttle which will take you to many jumping off places in the park, including Logan Pass. Many Glacier and Two Medicine (the other two main hiking areas in the park) are only a few minutes away by car.
The accommodations were fabulous! Two bedrooms, a full kitchen, full bath, living room, deck (with gas grill),fireplace in the living room . .. with coffee provided! the hosts were friendly and helpful. Quiet except for karaoke night at the local bar down the hill, but that was mild.
Just a note--the closest real grocery store is in Browning (30 miles away), and that ain't great. Bring groceries if you drive. If you fly in, you will have to make do in Browning. St. Mary has a very limited-selection grocery, and it is very expensive.
We have stayed here three times and love the location and the overlook of the lake
and the mountains. We had a problem one night with a band below playing excessively loud music. But you can report it, which we found out later. ALittle
on the expensive side but the deck lookout was faboulous and we had two bedrooms! Nice and roomy - we will return with our son and hs wife!
