“Absolutely Gorgeous view; great place to stay!”
Reviewed July 2, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed in Glacier for 2 weeks and this was our favorite place! The view from the back deck is absolutely incredible and it was great to have a table and BBQ out there so we could enjoy the sunsets. The cottage itself was just what we were looking for in a rustic getaway. It was cozy, we liked that both bedrooms were similar and had good closet space. The decor was very charming and we felt very relaxed there. It was fun to be able to cook big breakfasts and dinners there before and after our long hikes. We also enjoyed playing card games next to the fireplace at night. We found that this location looked most like the pictures of the places we stayed. It was our roomiest stay by far.

The East side of the park definitely has the best hiking and we were able to see the most wildlife at both Two Medicine and Many Glacier. We also had pizza at the Rising Sun the first night, loved their cheesy bread sticks and fresh ingredients on the pizzas. I'd recommend going to the grocery store before you make it to the East Side as produce selection is limited.

Overall, fantastic stay, we can't wait to come back!

“mother/son hiking trip”
Reviewed September 23, 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We stayed 2 nights at the Cottages during a mother/son hiking trip last week. Mothers in their 50's took one cottage...sons in their 20's took next door cottage. Perfect set up for all to have their own beds, and plenty of space....yet we were able to gather for shared breakfasts, cocktails looking out at our beautiful views of the Park, and games in the evening after dinner.
Beds are all super comfortable, baths have a great set up with separate sink area (which helps multiple people get ready on time in the am!)...all amenities provided, including wi-fi.
Our host and hostess were wonderful...giving us tips about hikes, restaurants, etc.
The gas fireplaces in the rooms were perfect for those chilly Sept. evenings and mornings...I would definitely stay there again...wonderful set up, clean, comfortable, and spacious...couldn't ask for more!

“Magical”

The cottages are modern, beautifully decorated, well-maintained and have a breathtaking view of the mountains from the spacious deck. The lodge and stores nearby have everything you need. Easy access to the Going to the Sun road.

“Wonderful place to stay at the gates of Glacier Park”
Reviewed August 28, 2015 for a stay in August 2015

Perfect base of operations for a hiking trip in the park. The cottage is serene and well equipped; we cooked most of our meals at home. Our patio had a grill and we could cook and eat surrounded by Short drive to many of the best trailheads in the park. Charming and helpful owners. Couldn't have asked for better.

I had a delightful weekend in the cottage which had views from every room, a deck, barbeque, kitchen with the necessities, good coffee, and guidance from the owners about the area.

“The Cottages at Glacier have it all!”
Reviewed July 26, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

The Cottages at Glacier provide the perfect mix of a luxury accommodation and an area with amazing sight seeing and hiking opportunities. The cottages are set up wonderfully for family and friends to spend time together visiting, preparing fine meals and just relaxing. The cottages are immaculate, the beds comfy and the kitchen has everything needed to fix your own meals. The managers also have great suggestions for good restaurants nearby as well as great places to hike, walk or drive! Their knowledge of the area helped us make the most of our time in Glacier Park.

“Location, Location, Location”
Reviewed July 24, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We spent two nights at The Cottages and had a great experience. The condo is clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there. The view of St Mary into Glacier National Park is breath taking. You are just minutes from the St Mary Visitor Center. Just 30 minutes away to the north is Many Glacier and to the south is Two Medicine. Sally the manager is a wealth of information about the area.
There are not many dining options in St Mary's so if you are able bring your food to cook. There is a small grocery store across the street but it has limited stock and is expensive. If dining out would recommend Rising Sun Pizza just across the street and the taco stand next to the pizza place. Would NOT recommend Johnson's.
You can't go wrong with this vacation rental!!
