We returned to East Glacier on vacation for the first time since July 2010. At that time we came to the Whistle Stop on a recommendation from a travel guide. We ended up coming for breakfast everyday and also came for the Huckleberry pie. Needless to say we couldn’t wait to return here in 2018. We were extremely disappointed. I am not sure if it has different owners since 2010. The hash browns went from scratch made potatoes with onions and peppers to some kind of deep fried store bought potatoes with little to no onions, peppers or even flavor. The giant cinnamon rolls are gone. The service was ok but the food is substantially worse. We probably ate here 5 times in 2010. We went once and didn’t return the 6 days we spent in East Glacier. I’m now sorry I recommended this place to so many people over the last 8 years.
