“Absolutely Incredible place, recommend it to everyone!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 13, 2010

You absolutely have to stay at this charming modernized motel. The rooms are spotless, the service is incredible and the staff are the nicest most accommodating couple. We were treated like part of the family. Heather made great recommendations on restaurants, places to see and things to do. They had a very nice continental breakfast. Upon request Heather even opened the office early so we could eat before we went on our hike which she had suggested. We were surprised to find that we had internet access in this remote area. I enjoyed my stay greatly.

My friend and I had no reservations and traveling near Glacier NP in November is VERY hit and miss as far as even finding anything open. We stopped in and the clerk was SO friendly and accomodating. We were traveling with a dog and were able to get a pet-friendly room too. The rooms were toasty, welcoming and so clean. I slept like a rock that night...the bedding was wonderful. The next morning we found plenty of coffee, danishes, biscuits, juices, etc. Quite a selection and the owner even encouraged us to take some extra with us. If you're looking for a name brand experience, this isn't it. If you're fine with real good folks and a nice place to lay your head for the night, this is a great pick. I'm making my reservations for September right now!

Arrived in the middle of a blizzard, to be greeted by a very friendly manager. Nothing was a problem and very soon we were warm and cosy in the room. Everything was spotless, had a great night sleep in comfortable beds. Breakfast supplied in the morning and all this for a reasonable price. Tap water is undrinkable in this area so the manager supplied us with plenty of water for the night and also to refill our hiking bladders. This was one of the best value stays of our whole trip!

My husband and I are on an extended road trip. We plan to be out for 6-7 weeks. We are 10 days in now. This motel is the best choice in the area in my opinion. I do not agree at all with the negative things said by the other posters.
After having a bad experience with another motel, we happened to see the vacancy sign at the Dancing Bears Inn. By the time we left there the next morning, we felt like family.

The people are extra friendly, very helpful and informative and could not have made us feel any more welcomed. The room was a bit small, but so was the price. The room was clean and well furnished. The bed was comfortable.

It was a great experience and we fully intend to come back again on our next trip.

We arrived East Glacier Park without any reservation and was happy to get two rooms in this motel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even provide a decent breakfast.

We made an advance reservation - I don't think we would ever have stayed in a place like that had we seen it ahead of time. The people were nice enough, but the room struck us as odd - heavy red/gold brocade type of furnishings. The light outside the room kept us awake half the night, because the drapes were basically see through. I didn't see anyone else mention this, so maybe we're too picky. Trying to be fair, but this room, for the price (mentioned by others) seemed to be overpriced. We are staying in a beautiful Hampton Inn tonight for $25 less than this motel - and we have a gym, indoor swimming pool, and full breakfast. I guess it's hard to compare places near a national park with chain hotels near an interstate exit. On the positive side, they had some nice breakfast items included - nothing cooked, but toasted stuff, juices, organic milk, etc. And the owners really are trying to make it work. To tell the truth, I wouldn't stay in most of the places I saw in East Glacier, except maybe the East Glacier Lodge, which looked beautiful. I think it was about $30 more per night. Probably well worth it.

We made a last-minute booking in peak season and were very pleased with this little hotel. The rooms are wood paneled and some include kitchenettes. The staff was very nice about lending us some kitchen utensils and were also very friendly and helpful in the morning, helping us with our travel plans. This is new management and they seem determined to improve the place.
