Great little cabin with everything we needed to recharge after exploring the park all day during or one week stay. Great restaurants, groceries, and car rental nearby. Easy walking distance to "downtown" East Glacier. Great staff with pick up/drop off to the train station!

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. First when I called to verify my reservation one week before our stay we were assured we would have a queen bed, both my husband and I are very tall. When we arrived it was a double bed at best. When we questioned the front office they said well yes, they are just double beds. The cabins have been repainted and yes the price was cheap but we were not able to stay there due to fact that there wasn't room for one of us to sleep on the floor and one on the bed, the bed filled the entire room (you can imagine how small this place was.) There was NO air conditioning in the place, an amenity I didn't think I'd have to request in 2012, it was over 90 degrees the day we checked in and no air movement what so ever, had I of known there was no air conditioning up front I probably would never had made a reservation or I would have packed fans . The manager refunded one of the two nights but not both, service was slow and not friendly. I am generally happy with a good clean room but this was less than advertised.

Room Tip: Don't stay here.

There have been some great update since the last time we stayed her (2 years ago), but the shower is not built for human beings. I cannot stand under the showerhead, and I was worried that I might hit my head on the ceiling. The pressure was nonexistant and the water just fell from the shower like a gentle rain. This is not what you need to clean yourself after a day of hiking. We did have a problem with no drinking glassed the second day. On the third day my wife's shower cap was accidentally thrown away. Both of those problems were fixed with a quick trip to the office. The city of East Glacier Park has finally fixed the water problem and you can drink the water. The best thing about this place is the beds. I don't know what it is, but we have had the best sleep on aour trip in these beds. This is the second time my wife and I have said this. All in all stay here if you are five foot four or shorter. If you are tall plan on showering on your knees.

We stayed in a motel room with 2 queen beds. It was basic but clean. It had a TV and microwave - I would have liked a coffee maker instead. But they did have a vending machine and complimentary coffee in the office starting at 8 am. I would have liked coffee earlier since we like to leave by 8 am for our hikes. But we survived with a Diet Coke from the vending machine :) It is a great location to explore the lovely Two Medicine area of Glacier Park. Also Luna and Wingstop restaurants right across from the motel are convenient.

We easily booked our cabin via the internet and received a prompt and courteous response. The cabin was all we needed for our 5 day stay. The managers are very knowledgable about the area and assisted us in making the most of our stay. When our train was delayed 8 hours they made sure we had a place to wait and shower even though they were booked up and we had already checked out. The kitchenette and bathroom were small but provided all we needed. The cabin was clean and furnished with a table and chairs and a small desk w/bench.

This place was a run down, dirty, bug infested dump! Bugs were found in the bed - under the sheets, and crawling on walls and curtains! They tell you not to drink the water cause its not safe. But its because they are too cheap to filter it. Every other place in town had no issues with water and it was fine to drink, because they all had filtration systems. Shower head was at about 5'4" height and when another cabin flushes the toilet, you get scalded! So small that you could barely turn around and had nowhere to dry off. Floor around toilet was rotted. Kitchenette was complete with rotted and stained counter top, old chipped sink and faucet and torn up dish drain. Peeling wallpaper on every wall, holes in the ceilings. The square footage was very tight! Two double beds - but each was against 3 walls and there was about 2 feet between them. Old dirty carpet, stained bedding. T.V. worked, but was about an 8 or 9 inch one and really only one person could see it. they squeezed in a small table and a chair, but you could not get to it much less use table. Room was like an oven when we got there, and had no A/C, but we did get a small fan which didn't do much but make things barely tolerable to try to sleep. Betty - manager made no concession and seemed to think that the accommodations were well worth the $98 they charged! It was extremely overpriced and really just a dump.
We could not get out of there fast enough! Jacobson cottages across the street were much nicer and bigger and the owner did allow a small dog, even though the website says they don't. or lodge down the street was really nice. But don't waste your money on this place!!

Room Tip: Try Jacobson Cottages across the street. Or if you want a really awesome place - the Glacier Lodge r...

We stayed three nights at East Glacier Motel and Cabins. We had a little kitchenette which was wonderful to make breakfast and dinner. The room stayed warm with a heater on. Very clean and affordable compared to other places in the area. Across the street is Luna's with the best huckelberry pie.
