“Wonderful studio apartment”
Reviewed August 31, 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We stayed in the Two Medicine Suite, a studio unit, for a week while day hiking in Glacier National Park. What a wonderful place to stay! We had privacy but the host/owners were so accessible and friendly. We enjoyed getting to know them and appreciated their tips about the area. The unit was very clean and modern with a great kitchen and a grill on the deck for grilling. I would most definately recommend this suite at Lone Elk Lodge for a couple or singles. The lodge also has larger units for familes with children. It is an easy drive to hiking trails in Glacier, which suited us perfectly.

“We loved staying here!”
Reviewed August 10, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Our stay at Lone Elk Lodge in the Two Medicine Suite was absolutely the best! The moment we arrived on the property and saw the stunning views and beautiful flowers in the yard we both new it was going to be a great week. Then we opened the door to our suite and both said "WOW!" The décor in the Two Medicine Suite was refreshing. There were delicious fresh baked scones on the table for us to enjoy. The Two Medicine Suite was just right for us to spend a relaxing week. We didn't even mind when it rained a couple of days because we were content to stay right at the lodge and relax in our warm and cozy accommodations . We enjoyed being able to cook some of our own meals if we choose to as well as the ability to connect to the outside world as much as we wanted to by TV and internet. The owners Carl and Leslie were very friendly and offered hiking advice and suggestions. Our experience staying at the Lone Elk Lodge was absolutely great! We were sad when the week was over and hope to return in the near future.

“This is the place to be in East Glacier!”
Reviewed July 19, 2013 for a stay in July 2013

Lone Elk Lodge has the best accommodations and best value in East Glacier. Leslie was delightful. Her daughter even came over and helped us with our IT issues. The location is convenient and close to Glacier NP. There is custom woodworking throughout the rooms. If you want to see the national park lodge, but all means stop by and even have a meal there, but you will want to stay at Lone Elk. With the keylock system, you don't even need to carry a room key around. I highly recommend it.

“Fabulous location, views and home-like comfort”
Reviewed July 5, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

What a tremendous find! We spent the last few days of a magnificent Glacier vacation at Lone Elk Lodge. The owners, Leslie and Carl, could not have been more gracious, friendly or helpful. Discovered how conveniently located they are to desired park destinations and will definitely book as a "base camp" for future trips. Would not hesitate to recommend any suite as the ideal setting for either small or large group gatherings. Anything you could possibly need is available to prepare your own meals. No complaints or concerns at all from this guest!

“spectacular scenery and a bear too”
Reviewed June 28, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

This was a clean, quiet, roomy upscale studio. All appliances, plumbing, and TV worked well. Bed and pillows were comfy and clean, sheets were plush. The mountain views were spectacular. The host's gardens were lovely and came with live bunnies that ran around the yard. Nice cabinets brought a handmade touch. Unusual light fixtures had a leafy style that blended well with the outdoors. Hosts were very helpful with advice for suitable trails and restaurants. Grocery store and park entrance were nearby. Two delicious scones were on the table for us to enjoy when we arrived. We had a fabulous time!

“A Memorable Lodge”
Reviewed June 20, 2013 for a stay in June 2013

I love finding a rental to be just as the pictures are presented on their site. The studio was so comfortable and well equipped. It was also CLEAN which is so imporatnt to us.We were greeted with homemade scones and freshly ground coffee. Leslie is a perfect hostess,She immediately makes you feel like friends and is very accommodating.I know anyone renting this studio will not be disappointed. We loved East Glacier, it's a great little village. We enjoyed fudge from the trading post, breakfast at the Medicine Grille, and bought lovely pottery from the Brown House Pottery. We had a very memorable vacation.

Liked best: The cleanliness and furnishings.
Liked least: The neighbors in the other unit walked very heavily up and down the steps repeatedly on our last night after we were already in bed.

“Very functional studio - No interaction with owners”
Reviewed October 2, 2012 for a stay in October 2012

On the Plus side:
- The studio has all you need: a nice kitchenette, small but nice bathroom, a nice sitting area and good heater.
- Good wifi access

On the OK side:
- I guess this is part of the deal with a vacation rental, but we didn't get to interact at all with the owner. We were provided all the instructions to enter the property, were also given a keypad code to lock the room and indications on where to park and how to remove our trash. Great if you want privacy, not so much if you were planning on getting tips about things to do in the region.
