On our drive through Yellowstone at the northeast side, we came to a snowy little town called Cooke City. It was a magical winter wonderland and felt soooo "remote Montana." Loved it. We ordered chili and sandwiches. The chili was very tasty on a snowy April day, and the sandwiches were delicious!! Their huge chocolate chip cookie was the perfect dessert for our return drive. With sandwiches you get a bag of potato chips too. Nice people! Highly recommend the deli. We then went on our way back the way we came, as it's the only way you can go during the winter season. Perfect lunch to go with our fun day.
