This was a typical Super 8. If you are on motorcycles, the parking approach is loose rock and fairly steep. I had the wife and female friends wait at the bottom of the lot for assistance. Clean room, clean sheets, clean bathroom, typical low selection Super 8 breakfast fare. No A/C but we did not need it. We ate breakfast at a little place two buildings east where you can get a great pecan roll, eggs/bacon and even spark plugs or skis for your snowmobile. Fun place to eat!!

Room Tip: In the summer open the windows and turn on the ceiling fan as soon as you get there. It cooled off while we walked down the street for dinner.

The Super 8 in Cooke City was clean but a little expensive for what you get. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was okay. The breakfast was not great. There was no fruit or protein. You had to go next store and buy those items at a restaurant run by the hotel owners. Check out was at 10:30 with no late check out allowed (because the next night was full). Overall, it was a decent place to stay in Cooke City, but if I were staying longer, I would choose a lodge nearby.

Room Tip: Rooms on third floor (no elevator) have great views of mtns.

We stayed here on our way Washington. Great value, room was clean, staff and owner very friendly. Walking distance to restaurants. Would have loved to stay longer to chat with the owner - great guy! On our way to Yellowstone we noticed 2 bison on the roadside!

This place was nice. It was clean, not many "extras". It was the only lodging in Cooke City, which put us close to Lamar Valley in Yellowstone where we were spending several days. We had two queen beds and it was comfortable. Cooke City had some good places to eat so this worked well for us.

I stayed here two night with my family while we visited Yellowstone. It was a good fit for us because we spent all day in the park and only went to the hotel to sleep. The location is great. It took about 10 minutes to get to Yellowstone. Other than that I don't have anything great to say about it. The Service wasn't great. The rooms were basic and didn't have AC. Our TV turned off every 10 minutes by itself.
