We love to stop here after a day of hiking in the Bitterroot Mountains. The locals can be counted on to be in their same places at the bar, and they always greet newcomers with a smile and a nod. Dinners are basic fare, too salty usually but wash that down with an ice cold beer and you are just fine. The burgers are very good, and they hand cut their own french fries. We sit in the bar as there is a huge stone fireplace, a pool table and usually 60's and 70's soft rock playing (unless there is a game on the TV). Patty, one of the waitresses is incredible, friendly and fun. There are the ubiquitous poker machines, but they are not loud or obnoxious.
