Our family had a great meal tonight at Tien's. Since we're from out of state we were unsure of where to go for dinner. Checked tripadvisor and the reviews for this restaurant were very positive so we thought we'd check it out.
We had an excellent appetizer (shrimp and bacon in a roll) and I had the wonton soup as a starter. The soup was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic. It was very filling.
Kids ordered from the kids meal options and were happy with their sweet and sour chicken. Two opted for French fries and one with the combination rice. Kids meals were priced higher than we typically see at restaurants but I felt the value was fair ($7 I think.)
I had the Kung pao chicken and my wife had the vegetables in oyster sauce.
A lot of food and we also have leftovers for tomorrow when we go into the park.
I was a little hesitant to get the combination rice due to a review I read. However, I thought the rice was good and wasn't anything like a negative reviewer described it as.
Waitress was great and owner said hi to us on the way out. Make sure to read the owners story on the wall when you come in to the restaurant.
