“Very Nice Resort”
Reviewed August 27, 2012

We booked a week in August via RCI points. Our primary intent was golf....Meadow Lake, Whitefish Lake, Buffalo Hill, and Eagle Bend. The Meadow Lake course stacks up with the first three but Eagle Bend is a cut above the rest. Nice to get a 25% discount at the resort's course if you're an owner at Meadow Lake or booked through RCI. There is also a very nice private beach area at Flathead Lake for owners and RCI guests, check with the front desk for a map with driving directions. Having a large grocery outlet nearby in Columbia Falls was a bonus. Kalispell has a Costco and numerous retail outlets, and there is a water park nearby in Columbia Falls. There are several public beaches at Whitefish Lake, and Glacier National park is a short drive away. The resort itself is clean, staff are friendly and accommodating, indoor and outdoor pool/hot tub areas are very nice, and the adult only hot tub (with gas fire pit), steam and dry saunas, and gym was most welcome after a long day. The Wifi worked flawlessly in our unit. Suites were well appointed, all appliances were in good working order (bonus points for the ice maker in the fridge), beds and pillows were comfortable, and the A/C worked well, which was a blessing when every day was 31 - 33 degrees C (over 90 degrees F for our American friends.) The onsite restaurant (Truby's) had decent food, but was a bit overpriced in my opinion. One safety concern was the lack of adequate lighting at the outdoor pool and outside the adults-only spa, which had no lighting at all....definitely a hazard, which was brought to the attention of the resort. The week went waaaay too fast, but we had a great time and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

“Well satisfied with entire package”
Reviewed August 17, 2012

Amenities most acceptable. Did not play golf this time but visited with other guests who advised the course was in fine shape.

Service staff make a strong effort at customer satisfaction.

Would recommend the resort to family and friends.

Lots to see and do in close proximity.

We will return.

“Always a great family getaway”
Reviewed August 8, 2012

This is a great stay for the golf (or golf widow) family. We are repeat visitors and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, pool access (indoor and outdoor - though the outdoor one is actually much warmer), and of course on-site golf course. You do need to drive to ammenities (nothing is in walking distance from here). There's lots of water activities (driving distance) available at nearby Big Fork (Flathead Lake) and Whitefish.

“Always excellent!”
Reviewed July 28, 2012

We visit the resort several times a year, and always look forward to our next visit! The staff are friendly, very accommodating, and always make suggestions on how to enjoy the area. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and well supplied. There are many ways to enjoy your time at the resort including a very relaxing soak in the hot tub!!

“Meadow Lake Golf Course”
Reviewed July 1, 2012

A cheerful welcome greets you from the pros at Meadow Lake Golf Course as you sign in and enjoy some golf banter with these quintessential experts before you head off to the first "T". Warm up on the driving range, take a few practice putts then hear the starter call your name as you and your party are next on the first "T". What a perfect way to start your day - no matter what time it is. Your day will consist of beauty, challenge, peacefulness and enjoyment as you play this course in one of the most beautiful valleys in the Rockies. You will enjoy the challenge of the mountains, the trees, the sand and the water which are all an integral part of this mystical course. Each hole is contoured to fit the natural topography of the valley, both vertically and horizontally. Each hole is a unique experience to be relished with the friends you come with or the ones you make while you are here. The course is narrow and the rough is rough so bring along a few extra balls. If you are staying at Meadow Lake Resort for the week you will want to inquire about the golf package before you arrive in order to book your "T" times in advance. Finally, either for lunch or dinner, you will want to enjoy a wonderful meal or beverage at Trubby' Restaurant. I play at golf, so I do not consider myself a golfer, yet I have a truly wonderful experience at Meadow Lake Golf Course. The course, the people, the accommodation and the food bring me back year after year and I am sure it will bring you back as well.
