The buildings are older and lack the quality found in 5 star or Gold Crown resorts..no Granite or stainless steel,The shower and toilet are in a very small dark closed off room, not relaxing or even functional. The sinks (two seperate) and dressing areas are nice, but basic, basic, basic..small sinks, cheap fixtures, but clean, the bed was very nice, king size! ON THE OTHER HAND, the resort facilities are GREAT! There is an adults only spa..top notch, a kids area with an indoor pool, which they were redoing when we were there. The golf course is beautifullly maintained and the resturant at the lodge (Truby's) offer complimentary smores by the roaring gas fireplace on the terrace. By the way, the resturant had fab gourmet pizzas and a great chicken caesar, and a mile high rubin that's what we tried during our stay! Only 30 minutes at the most from the West entrance to Glacier and 45 minutes up to Big Mt Ski resort....15 minutes from Whitefish so it is a great location!!! Don't be thrown off by the paper plant as you drive there....we couldn't hear, see or smell any of it during our days there.

Room Tip: The resort rooms all face the golf course so the feeling of privacy is bulit in! We were in Bldg 9...

I stayed in blgd 6 room 613. The unit had two bathrooms for one bedroom which was nice. The kitchen was nicely appointed. My complaint was we booked with RCI over six months out. Other family also booked four months out and they would not accomidate us in the same building. The indoor pool was closed, as well as the spa. My biggest issue was the blinds were thin and the bedroom window looked out to the car port. The lights stayed on all night. When I woke up in the middle of the night it was too difficult to fall back asleep. I had to use the pull out sofa in the living room which did not have bright lights shining in. However pull out sofas are not comfortable to sleep on. Please get some heavier drapes in bedrooms that look out to the car ports.

It was a great place to visit and relax, only a few minor knocks on it being great, we wasn't informed that the indoor pool for kids was closed and the spa for the wife to hit was also closed! No, customer service to make up for that, but the golfing was great and course well kept. the location to Glacier National park is good and fun to see while in the area. Going a bit earlier in the year is better but this was the only time we could book.

We really loved the resort, a cute as button with everything you need in it. We were impressed with Tryby's restaurant catering to the Canadian on the Canadian Thanksgiving and serving them with a full turkey dinner. I wish the fitness room was larger with a a more diverse type of equipment, but its a minor. Considering to buy time share points.

We stayed at the Inn at Meadow Lake Resort. There are also timeshares available for rent, so when planning your trip be sure to read the reviews for where you want to stay (inn or timeshare).

We made our decision to visit Glacier National Park about 6 weeks before our intended trip the first week of September. Unfortunately we found that 6 weeks wasn't a sufficient amount of lead time to locate lodging either in the park or in West Glacier so we booked a room at Meadow Lake Resort based upon the recommendation of my sister who had stayed in timeshares at the resort on several occasions. The resort, in Columbia Falls, is about a 30 minute drive away from the West Glacier entrance to the park.

Our room at the inn was located on the first floor (one floor below reception) and we had a golf course view from our room. The room was on par with upscale hotels. The bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, the room was quiet (despite a very large crowd in the restaurant one floor above us) and the staff was pleasant.

The only caveat with this room is that there was no sink/dressing area outside of the bathroom. This meant that it took us a little longer to get ready in the morning (which was important to use because we wanted to get to the park).

The resort is about a quarter mile off of the main road. In Columbia Falls you'll find a greater selection of amenities (restaurants, coffee shops, groceries, etc.) than you'll find in West Glacier. Also, about 20 minutes northwest from Columbia Falls is the town of Whitefish. Whitefish has a very interesting downtown area with numerous restaurants.

While the room at Meadow Lake was probably nicer than most other establishments closer to the park, if I return to the West Glacier area I will probably try make my travel arrangements further in advance to be able to stay in the park or West Glacier simply because of the convenience of not having to drive an extra 30 minutes each way to get to the park. That being said, if you're looking for someplace to combine a park experience with golfing and other attractions in the area (fishing on Flathead Lake for example), Meadow Lake Resort is an excellent choice.

Service at the resort was superb and personal. The facilities and grounds were meticulously maintained. We exchanged a week through RCI and occupied a studio room, which had a king size bed, partial kitchen, and jetted tub.

We used the resort as our place from which to visit Glacier National Park, Waterton Lakes National Park, and towns close to West Glacier. Touring those areas was our primary reason for visitng northwestern Montana. And although this resort is primarily a golf resort, we did not play golf. The course, however, appeared to be in great condition and well groomed. Our room was very comfortable, and also included use of an outdoor gas fire pit and gas barbecue grill.

Our room was located very close to the fitness center with its exercise equipment, sauna, steam room and a very large and spacious outdoor hot tub. A swimming pool was also available. We only ate at the resort restaurant twice during our stay, because we were out and about touring most days. The food was good and the menu offerred a nice variety of entrees.

The resort concierge, Robin, was absolutely excellent. She was very personable, helpful, and provided excellent recommendation and suggestions that made our visits to the parks enjoyable.

There is no room service at the resort. Daily housekeeping is not included in the room charge, but is available for a fee.

Room Tip: If you would prefer to cook and eat in your room, I would not recommend a studio. The partial kitch...

This property is beautifully maintained and has everything you could possibly want in a vacation rental! The 2 BR's each had a king bed in them, both bathrooms were large and easily accessible for my handicapped husband. We had out own storage unit to store our luggage and we had a patio with a BBQ grill that we used as we watched the golfers play!
It was a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it!

Room Tip: I don't think there is a bad unit there, but we stayed in building 14 which was tucked away in a...
