“Nice secluded B&B with a picturesque view of the Missouri River & Canyon”
Reviewed July 10, 2013

This was the first B&B I have stayed in and wasn't sure what to expect. Rich and Trudy Hayes operate the B&B out of their home. The ranch sits on the hillside overlooking the Missouri River. It might be a good idea to take along a GPS to find the place as there are some gravel roads to navigate after getting off I-15 in Cascade. I was up there to float and fish the Missouri River along with some friends of mine from Denver. Rich and Trudy were great hosts and prepared some really great meals, including the sack lunches for the river. The living and eating area had a picturesque view of the Missouri and canyon below. They also had a large screen TV, but who had time to watch TV. They made everyone feel at home, which is what a B&B is supposed to do. The rooms were basic; bed and table. There were 4 rooms on the main floor accesable from the outside, and 1 room upstairs. I was alone so had one room with a single bed. Each room has separate A/C. There are 2 bathrooms with sink and shower on the main level. Get use to animals as they have lots of cats, horses and other animals outside. Only the dog stays is inside. There are plenty of deer that roam the nearby fields and hang around the house. Afterall, it is a ranch. I think this was a great experience for my first B&B. I was here mainly for the fishing, which the Missouri River has plenty of. Craig is just 5 miles down the road. Rich let us store our driftboat at the ranch in a specially designated area. All-in-all, a great place for a fishing vacation. The price is right and the company and food is wonderful.
