“Great stay”

I was only here overnight on a business trip and checked in late after an interesting night at the M&M Cafe (check out that review!). The rooms were clean and the pillows were comfortable. The breakfast was OK. The eggs were chewy, but I was still pretty full from the excellent late night meal at the M&M, so I didn't eat them. The front desk clerk at check in was really nice. I would recommend staying here, although it is one of the more expensive hotels in town.

We stopped here for the night on 9/16/12 and were greeted by friendly staff and a beautiful clean room. This hotel is on Harrison Street, one of the main streets thru town, but the rooms are quiet, despite the moving traffic outside. We had a LARGE king studio, with comfortable furniture to relax in. The breakfast room is cheery and bright, and they offer a good breakfast.
Upon our departure, I noticed a spray bottle and container of wipes at the door, to clean your windshield / headlights with. What a nice send-off!

Room Tip: First floor was convenient.

My wife and I have stayed here 4 times now, and every time it's a great stay. With the reno's it's that much better. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean comfortable place with a good breakfast.

Alright, enough of the mining puns. Overall was a convenient location to hop on the back street that takes you right up to the School of Mines. In addition, it was a few blocks away from the Paul Bunyon sub shop that still impresses after 25 years, albeit in a new location. Room 321 is right next to the maids closet, so if you want to sleep-in then request a different room. This side does have a view of the M on Big Butte. There are 3 floors.

They put a tray of cookies out just before 6pm. I had a double chocolate with butterscotch. The breakfast area is very nice and new. The shower has good water pressure and a multi-function head. It is what you expect from a Hampton inn.

Stayed here weekend of July 13 while the Montana Folk Festival was taking place in Butte. The hotel was completely booked but the staff ran it like clockwork with friendly, smiling faces.GREAT staff here.

Not the cheapest hotel around but....comfortable beds (I slept well), hot shower, plenty of space to move around in both the room and bathroom. VERY clean hotel. Typical but well-stocked continental breakfast. Very comfy new lobby area. Plenty of parking. Room air conditioning worked great on a hot weekend (until a local power outage Sunday morning!).

Would have been nice if the location was closer to downtown Butte, but the airport, interstate, restaurants and gas stations are all nearby so it has that convenience. Plus, there was an hourly shuttle that took us downtown and back during Folk Festival hours, which was a HUGE plus!

This Hampton, while an older building has just undergone a great renovation. The new lobby is beautiful and the rooms are also great. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful especially when making dining recommendations. New fitness center is very nice. Love the individual TV monitors built in to each of the new Precor machines.

Our first impression at check-in was very good. Brady found our reservations in no time at all and was very welcoming. The suites (we had 2 with our party of four) are well appointed, have everything you need, are spacious and super clean. Beds are good quality. We had a good sleep. When I inadvertently left my sports coat behind upon departure and only just realized that some 12 hours later the very same friendly and efficient Brady impressed me again by immediately recognizing my name when I called to inquire about the jacket. They will be happy to UPS it to my home address.
On top of all that: Butte is a very nice little town with lots of character and fun places to eat. Would be happy to come back and will for sure book my accommodation at the Hampton Inn.

Room Tip: We like to be higher up ... it tends to be a little quieter. Our room 323 was very quiet at the back...
