“Excellent coffee, Good food, slow service”
Reviewed August 6, 2011

Had breakfast there this morning based on TA ratings. We were the second party in the door at 9AM. The food was pretty good, but for only 2 occupied tables, the service was very slow. It seemed as if there was only 1 person in the kitchen. We were right by the order window and it took at least 30 minutes from the time the order went in to when food appeared. 3 of us got our orders right away, the 4th waited, finally it appeared in the window and it was at least 5 minutes before a server answered the bell. I was just ready to stand and get it myself. By this time, there were perhaps 4 parties in the restaurant besides us, so still not terribly busy. They have quite a number of tables in a nicely done old building, but am not sure how they would handle a lunch rush! One server was pretty personable, the second server who appeared later in our visit must not be much of a morning person. I had the breakfast wrap which was a tasty combo of diced red potatoes, bacon, egg with a very nice homemade salsa on top. Others had an omelet, french toast and sausage and eggs. The lunch menu looked awesome.

the best pancakes in town. Great coffee too. We'll go back for breakfast and lunch. Too bad they don't serve dinner

“Went for the organic but loved the deck”
Reviewed July 10, 2011

The food is well prepared. I understand that they make their own bread. The vibe is very warm. The rosemary potatoes were tasty. The brewed coffee was full of flavor, but not strong enough for my taste. I love this place.

“Gem in Butte!”
Reviewed June 2, 2011

This is the type of funky little local place we like to support when we travel. Excellent organic home cooked food, local art for sale on the walls, mix and match yard sale furniture, great ambience, and even little things like organic ketchup and stevia for my coffee!! Try the pancakes with berries and the soup! Coffee is fabulous, too.
