“Pasties are to die for....”

...just like the ones we had in Cornwall, England!

This place is a MUST stop to truly experience Butte's historic mining culture.

Well worth your time and attention.

“Cool Place...Hot Yummy Pasty”
Reviewed August 11, 2014

This was the best pasty I have ever had. The flaky delicious crust was great and so nice with the brown gravy. The meat and potato filling was primarily seasoned with black pepper, and it was nice. Actually I split the pasty with my husband and shared a chef salad with him as well. Pasty can be heavy for lunch, so that struck a nice balance. Good, fresh, anf plentiful ice tea to wash it down and hydrate on a hot Butte afternoon. I understand the place is not air conditioned, but it was cool in spite of the heat. Interesting 20s decor. Very friendly service.

“Old time Place to eat.”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

Had a Pasties...A meat pie the Cornish miners use to take down in the mines for lunch. They were wonderful ....You could have yours plain or covered with gravy. I was really up set when we didn't have time to go back for more.

“Good old fashioned”
Reviewed July 13, 2014 via mobile

This place really takes u back in time to a good old diner. There aren't many more around anymore so going here was a treat. This place has great food and good milkshakes. I wish I could have worked there back in the olden days. However there is no air conditioning, so it's kinda hot in there, but it is a great experience. The food was very good and the service was friendly. I do wish however there would have been an old jukebox playing and that the waiters and waitresses would have been wearing old timey diner clothes to get us more in the mood.
Great place though and if I'm ever in that area again I would love to go back.
