“Great place to meet and dine”
Reviewed April 19, 2014

I've spent many evenings at the Ale Works with friends and business people. it has always, yes always, been a pleasurable experience. The food has been consistantly good. The prices are not outlandish. The service has always been good. It may not be the place to go for that memorable dining experience of a lifetime, but it will be one that you will remember as something to do again.

“Always a good time”
Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

Great food, tons of local and state beers available. Can't remember a time I have gone here and had anything but a good time. At times difficult to get a table but there is often room at the bar.

“My favorite place in Bozeman!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

I've dined and /or sipped here dozens of times and I've never had a negative experience at Montana Ale Works. From the greeter at the front door to the serving staff, service is outstanding! Have a question about the beer selection? Ask your friendly very busy bartender. He will knowledgeably answer your questions without making you feel like an imposition! Well staffed and they need to be as it is a busy place! I've never had a mediocre meal there, and I do mean "meal"! If you're a skinny chick like me, I recommend splitting an entrée! From appetizers to large plates to salads, you can't go wrong! For land-locked Montana, they even do calamari exceptionally well! The downside? Good luck finding a table after 6pm. Even though they have a large seating capacity, the locals know it's the place to go! If you're looking for quiet and laid back, this is not the place. But it's only noisy because so many people are enjoying themselves and conversing with one another. Truly my first choice in Bozeman for a casual, delightful evening with friends!

“One of my fave places in town!”
Reviewed April 15, 2014

The food is always, always good, if not stellar. Service is excellent and everyone is quite knowledgeable as to the menu and what beer, wine or other beverage will compliment your meal nicely. I have never had a bad meal here and I go quite often.

I have gone to the Ale Works on very busy Friday evenings and even if we have to wait for 45 minutes or so for a table, the wait is pleasant and someone always comes over to see if we want a cocktail before we are seated.

I tell everyone who comes to town that this restaurant is not to be missed. Love it! :)
