“Don't stay Pool-side”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2009

Rooms and hotel were ok. Nice pool and hot tub area. Breakfast area is right next to hotel guests doors (a little strange). Rooms that have a deck to the pool area reek of chlorine..

If you are considering staying at Cmon Inn in Bozeman, I recommend finding another hotel. The manger, Jeremy [--]is the most unprofessional and downright rude person I've ever spoken to. He treated my wife incredibly rude, insinuated that she was a liar and then when confronted by me, Jeremy treated me with the same rudeness and disrespect. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! This is the hospitality industry for heaven's sake! I travel and stay in hotels all over the country and I can honestly say I am dumbfounded that the owners of this hotel allow this type of behavior. Don't waste your money on this place...

We stayed at the C'mon Inn for one night on our way to Yellowstone. It is one of several hotels in the same area off of the highway. The building is attractive from the outside. The inside public areas are also very nice. There are are many hot tubs and a large swimming pool. There is a slight smell of chlorine due to the many hot tubs.

Guest rooms either face the parking lot, with mountains in the distance, or face the inner courtyard area where the hot tubs are located. We were given an inner room which was rather dark because the window only opened to the courtyard. However, there was a small balcony which was convenient for hanging wet bathing suits. I called the front desk to try to change our room to a brighter, outer room and was told that the only rooms with 2 double beds were inner rooms. Also the hotel was full so they couldn't offer us any other room.

Breakfast consisted of waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, cereals- but not a huge selection, and only one kind of bread for toast. I have had better "continental breakfasts" at other hotels.

We booked a room in this hotel on either end of a recent trip to Yellowstone. Weather/air traffic issues screwed up our flight into Bozeman and so I called the afternoon we were supposed to arrive to cancel the reservation. The hotel refused to process the cancellation. I had booked through Expedia (a reservation that was supposed to be refundable even though it was pre-paid) so I called them next. They agreed to cancel the reservation but said they’d need the permission of the hotel. Expedia then called the hotel for me and they again refused to process the cancellation. I called the hotel one more time to ask that the cost of the room be applied to the reservation on the other end of the trip. They refused that as well and during that call they both acknowledged the call from Expedia and denied having received it.

We did stay there the night before we left Montana and the hotel was clean and comfortable; like any decent chain hotel along the highway. Given how uncooperative the management is, I’d recommend staying somewhere else; there are two other national chains that share the same driveway as the C’mon Inn and I’m sure they are just as about the same, only better run.

Guest is upset with management due to not getting refund from third party PREPAID reservation service Expedia.

Hotel can not refund guest when no monies have been exchanged between guest and hotel.

Management has offered to help guest get refund from third party (Expedia). Due to the reservation was canceled on day of arrival.

Excellent free breakfast, wonderful building that really epitomizes the area and Montana. A nice pool, 5 hottubs and perhaps the best feature are the many, many open areas outside of all the rooms, essentially doubling the area of the rooms where we played cards, ate pizza and watched a movie on the laptop.

Only changes required are hotter hot tubs (were luke warm at best), and an additional table setup for the breakfast: line got quite long. But again, one of the best family hotels we've ever been in.

I chose the C'mon Inn after ready several great reviews. I concur with those as we found the hotel to surpass our expectations. The location is convenient to the interstate as well as shopping (Target, Borders, etc.) and restaurants. Downtown is only 5-10 minutes away. The rooms were roomy and nicely furnished. The bedding and mattress were very comfortable. The indoor pool and the 5 or 6 hot tubs were definitely a plus and were just outside the doors of the downstairs rooms. We liked it so much that we came back for another night during our recent trip.

We stayed here last Summer with our two children at the beginning of a three week vacation in the Montana/Wyoming area. Upon our arrival, our children said that it was the "best hotel that had ever been too," and they have been to alot of places. It is a very kid/family friendly hotel. The room we had was clean and spacious with a large terrace overlooking the cavernous lobby. The buffet breakfast was adequate but nothing to write home about. The value for the money that you pay is well worth it. If you ask my kids now, what was there favorite place to stay over the three weeks, they still say, "the C'Mon Inn."
