We checked in for one night coming from Glacier National Park to Rapid City, and found ourselves wishing there was a C'mon Inn in Rapid City.

We had a room on the 3rd floor. Outside of the hotel room (this is true for all the rooms in the hotel) is a large seating area with couches and chairs looking down into the atrium in the center. The second and third floor ones were regular living room-type furniture of couches, chairs and tables; different from the patio furniture on the first floor, but if you were on the first floor, there were four hot tubs close to your room. The layout of the hotel room was great for us with two small kids - when you walk in there's a room with chairs, a table and a sleeper sofa with a 42" TV. Through a door is the bathroom and a king size bed with another TV in a spacious room. We asked for a roll-away, which someone brought up within 5 minutes, putting that and a pack and play in the bedroom with room to spare, and then watched a movie and ate in the other room after the kids were asleep.

The pool area is nice, with a hot tub (#5 in the hotel), a small kiddie pool and a large pool in a glass area which was warmer than the rest of the hotel. The other four hot tubs are around a waterfall in part of the atrium of the hotel, with rock dividers between each one.

The free continental breakfast is downstairs and quite large, with lots of choices and lots of seating. The highlight was the automatic pancake maker, which everyone commented on. There were several cereals, eggs, sausage, bagels/doughnuts and different kinds of coffee.

We didn't eat out, but there is an Outback Steakhouse next to this hotel, and it's a short drive from a lot of chain places - both restaurant and other stores. Quick access from the Interstate, and although it's pretty close, there wasn't any traffic noise in the hotel.

For families, I can't think of a much better way to lay out a hotel. Friendly staff, great service - if we're ever back in Bozeman we will definitely be staying here!

Modern new place with giant airy atrium in the middle. Very comfortable, clean rooms, with big flat screen TV, Microwave and refrigerator. Friendly and helpful front desk. It is hidden behind the Marriot Residence Inn. 10-15 minutes from the airport. Breafast buffet is included in the moderate room price. Only downside is you can hear the trains honk in the night. This is a problem with all the hotels located near I90.

We stayed at the C'mon Inn during a recent trip to Yellowstone. Our stay was bit unusual. We were scheduled to stay at the Inn the night before flying home out of Bozeman. We had just left the park and was doing some last minute shopping in Gardiner. We got a call from the manager of the Inn saying that there was a problem with our room. They had experienced a water leak in the ceiling of our room. We were told that it had been cleaned up and the bed had been removed. Unfortunately there were no other rooms available and if we wanted the room we could have it for free. We agreed, since we had no other option (they were booked solid) and we were only needing a bed to sleep in so we could catch an early flight in the morning. It wasn't a destination stay for us.

Upon arrival we were a little leary of what we would find. Our check-in was very fast and the manager apologized again for room. We loved the look of the hotel and the atrium with the 4 hot tubs was very inviting. The only downside of the atrium was the overwhelming chlorine smell, but you get that in any area with pool features. I've noticed the same thing when we stay at Embassy Suites. In fact, this hotel reminded me of an Embassy Suites, but with the outdoorsy feel.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got to our room. I'm not sure what we expected, but the only evidence of the leak was 4 small holes cut in the ceiling and the absence of a chair. The room had no musty smell, was very clean and well appointed. It was even made more attractive by the fact that we were staying for free! The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size and clean. The only downside of the trip was the breakfast. I found it to be lacking. There were some hot items; eggs, sausage, etc, but all of it had very little taste.

Overall we had a short but nice stay at the C'mon Inn.

We traveled for a week across Montana Idaho and Washington. This was our favorite hotel. Loved the lodgey feel. My kids loved the multitude of hot tubs and the pool. The complimentary hot breakfast had something for everyone. Room was very comfortable. Bathroom amenities were nice, not the cheapo ones you get at a chain.

Front desk staff wasn't terribly friendly, seemed disinterested when I tried to strike up conversation while checking in and out, but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Well, maybe not completely different, but certainly different from the usual chain motels. Not really different in a good way, I think. When you walk in you're greeted by a cavernous interior and the strong smell of chlorine. The interior is open all the way to the back of the motel, and contains the pool as well as a dining area, the lounge, and reception. The rooms are all on several levels with the doors facing the interior. The whole look is supposed to be faux western, I guess, but it seems like some bad idea of western. There are dead animal skins on the tables in the lounge area, for example, and lots of exposed "wood" logs. The room is comfortable and clean, but the furniture is kind of bland; they didn't carry the western theme to the rooms. In fact, the furniture all looks pretty institutional. The pool is open fairly late and it's noisy. We had a suite, so we had a buffer between us and the noise when we closed the bedroom door. I would only stay here again if I had kids who wanted to spend some time in the pool.

Doing a road trip from Vancouver to Halifax and driving through the states for a good part of it. With my fiancee and two babies, 4 months and 17 month. Decided to just drive through the night and try and reach Bozeman in one night. We did that, but suffice to say were very very cranky when we arrived.
Neither of us had heard of the c'mon in but i really liked the look of it from the outside and from pictures online. Check in was a breeze. The room was pretty large, more then enough space to set up two cribs and still walk around. The room was clean and felt fresh.
The pool was great, and the FOUR hot tubs was definately a welcome surprize.
We felt the price was more then reasonable, i think it was around 120.
If we had any gripes it would be the crappy breakfast. The 'eggs' were horrible, the sausage patties looked scary and there was no fruit. A few more options, such as bacon, or boiled eggs, or fruit salad would fix this.

Nice facility! Right off the freeway, surrounded by a mall and restaurants. A huge central area for meeting or lounging. ..Indoor pool.
The room was large and had all of the usual amenities (except it has those single serving pod coffee makers with only enough coffee for only one person) .
My only other complaint is the lack of personable staff at the front desk. At both check in and check out they were efficient enough but not terribly personable or friendly.
It was not enough to keep me from staying there again.
