“Swanky, yet not snooty.”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Located in downtown Bozeman, this whiskey bar has about 105 selections of whiskey from Montana, the US, and Ireland and Scotland. The wait staff and owner were both great in helping us choose a whiskey and create delicious cocktails to complement each. You could tell that the owner is very passionate and knowledgeable about whiskey, without being snobby. Very laid back atmosphere, warm and inviting with lots of reclaimed wood and comfortable chairs. Haven't been there for dinner, but I can attest that it's perfect for a laid-back evening with friends!

“Great menu options and good to boot”
Reviewed May 20, 2013

This new place in downtown Bozeman is not to be missed if you are visiting our beautiful city. They have done a wonderful renovation of the space, it feels fresh and western at the same time. The menu is straightforward, not overwhelming. But full of interesting dishes you will want to try. Service is top notch, you can tell every one there cares about your experience.

“Bozeman's new whiskey bar”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Occupying the space formerly occupied by Louie's Downunder Copper is already a popular place to meet, drink and dine. Located below street level the bar can be reached by elevator or stairs. It is dark with dramatic warm pools of light at the tables. A deep room is bisected into bar and dining areas. The bar offers cocktail tables and comfortable seating or a long bar with the usual all sports all the time TV's. The dining room offers tables and booths. We were told they do not offer reservations . We have been twice and note that by 7:30 the joint is rocking. Best to arrive earlier to get a booth. All sort of dress from urban hipster to Montana rancher. Gotta have a cocktail at a whiskey bar. Long list of whiskeys and bourbons so you can try out your favorite cocktail with other than your house brand. Plenty of wine and beer as well. Attentive servers never let your glass go dry. We have had nearly everything on the menu already and it is all prepared and served to delight. A short, simple one page pub-food menu offers something for every taste with additonal daily specials .Local beef and bison. Seafood FedExed from west coast fish mongers daily. House-made french fires and deviled eggs are delicious starters. All entres are obviously prepared and plated by professionals who care. A short desert list included special cupcakes one night. Just the right small size. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Go there.
