What I liked the most was the no sales tax on shoes and clothing!
There's a great little knit shop with a selection of locally died wool.
I purchased running shoes at Schree's.

The kids and towns people turn out every Thursday night for a music downtown music and dance session. The stores stay open and the party atmosphere is very lively. The bars serve discount beer. Everyone has a joyous time

I like Main Street. Our favs are the Rocky Mountain Toy Company, Country Bookshelf, Chalet Sports, Bozeman Bistro, Stix and Ace Hardware. Sometimes I wish it were a walking mall instead of a hwy!

Lots of small parks, interesting public art, very comfortable to walk around. At least two oriental rug dealers with beautiful wares. Nothing to dislike.

Great shops, food and eclectric nightlife. University is close with the crowds young. The whole city is so health conscious.
