We had noticed this cheerful-looking cafe while driving to the nearby Museum of the Rockies, and went there for a Friday-evening supper. We each had a salad, and were very happy with the quantity and quality, particularly the dressing. The music in the main area was rather intrusive, so we went to a quieter area. A silent auction of paintings by local artists was on the wall, which made for pleasant surroundings. Desserts are good, too, and there is a nice beer selection. We shared a Czech mate lager.

A friend on a gluten-free diet was visiting last week, so we decided to try Sola Café for the first time.
We arrived during the lunch rush, but the service was fast AND friendly-and there were plenty of options for both of us on the menu. I love how they support local growers.
We were able to find a table in the loft and it was the perfect place to spend a couple of hours catching up.
I had quiche, she had a salad...both were average café fare. But my cappuccino was the best I've had in a long, long time. The dessert selection looked yummy-I will definitely be going back when friends and family visit.

Good breads; interesting combos for foodstuffs ("grown-up" macaroni and cheese); friendly service: order at the counter, wait staff brings it quickly to your table; committed to locally grown, locally raised (free-range when possible); fun atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Fun food options, but more expensive than expected & service was quite slow. The grown up grilled cheese was very good. Mac & cheese, not so great.

Sola has 2 locations in Bozeman, 290 W. Kagy Blvd and just west of downtown in Main St. They have daily specials and can accommodate everyone's dietary needs. Buy a loaf of Gluten-Free Bread. It's one of the best I have tasted! Enjoy!
