We paid more to stay at this park because of the pool that we were never allowed to go in- not to mention that the employees were so incredibly rude we left early. One manager actually had the nerve to YELL at my two 7 year olds that "they had better stay out of the water park if she did decide to let them in the pool area or else..." "Due to safety concerns and the weather" the pool was closed but we were welcome to pay additional money and use the minature golf course?! The grass was dead- spots were small- we listened to a dog howl all night and were treated just awfully. I would ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE EVER!!!! (Sunshine Park down the road was wonderful btw :))

This was our first time staying at a KOA, and we literally pulled off the road and were in a "Kamping Kabin" in less than 10 minutes without a reservation. My kids loved the swimming pool and sprinkler park. Our cabin was really clean and we loved the porch swing.

This campground is also a great spot to stop if you are leaving the Yellowstone area. We left the park via the west entrance, followed highway 191 north (which is a beautiful drive, apparently where "A River Runs Through It" was filmed) to the campground. It was a reasonable drive, and a good stopping point for us.

We would definitely go back to this park if/when we return to MT.
