We were travelling with our 2 grandsons and they love dinos. We had a day to kill in Bozeman before going to our cabin in West Yellowstone so we went to the museum. It is very nicely done and very entertaining for the grandsons aged 7 and 10. There was also plenty of information for adults as well. It was a well spent 3 hours.

Listen to the guide when you enter. He gave an excellent historical talk. I wondered about the accuracy of the information and what type of revisionist history might be at play when one of the signs on the wall said Israel bombs suburbs of Cairo in the 1960's. What relevance that had to American history in the 1800's wasn't clear.

Fossils found primarily in the Montana/Idaho/Wyoming area. Citations of the research papers leading to scientific discoveries based on the fossil finds. Planetarium shows. Nothing to dislike.

This easily accessed museum is great for all ages. The kids will enjoy the extensive dinosaur and pioneer history sections. The "fashion" exhibit was great too! Really a large, well planned museum associated with Montana State University at Bozeman.
