Stayed at this hotel as a result of a convention. While the customer service staff at the front counter were friendly enough, they were clearly overwhelmed by the excess numbers of people checking in--more front desk help might have been called for at that time. The hotel is large enough to accommodate conventions. The biggest complaint I had is that PART of the hotel has elevator service, however, a large portion located behind the main lobby area/hotel does NOT and you end up carrying luggage upstairs. One customer complained bitterly about this and they finally found a porter to assist her--I just lugged mine up myself. Rooms were ok--not the cleanest --still had hair (not mine) in the bathtub which is a big turnoff and the rooms overall need updating--paint is chipped- fixtures in bathroom need attention. Heating/air conditioner is old time and works very poorly--Montana weather means cool nights and warm days right now so both heat and air were needed. Couldn't hardly turn the heat on and once on....the unit was loud! I visited a friend's room who was staying at a nearby "Come On Inn" and her room was twice as nice as mine. If going back to Billings for business, I would not stay there again. Definitely up to the Holiday Inn standards I am used to.
