Stumbled across this great sushi restaurant in Billings recently and definitely need to return whenever possible. Nestled in the traditional strip mall, as most Asian restaurants seem to be, the place markets itself as an Asian Fusion Bistro, which might be a bit of an overstatement for marketing purposes. Bottom line is they do have great and fresh food that comes out looking like works of art.
I had the "Spicy Girl" roll with avacado, salmon, and a topping of jalapeno. If you're not afraid of spicy, this is the way to go. Appetizers were just as good and from what I saw the other diners get, it's all good stuff. The nice option was a full second menu page of Thai and other styles of food, thus possibly qualifying the label of "Fusion" in the restaurant name.
Adding to the classic charm is the fact that parts of the menu are misspelled, such as their wine of "Poitn Noir" and instead of an "Angel roll", they featured an "Angle roll". The entertaining errors just confirm the authenticity of the place since the owners appear less concerned about fixing the mistake and more into taking care of their customers.
Kid and family friendly with plenty of locals stopping in to pick up "to go" orders on their way home.
