Would have liked to have seen Boot Hill. Directions were wrong & we ended up half way to Hardin. Boot Hill is by the fair grounds. We learned that from a native.

I concur with the other reviews other than there is additional parking across the street. Take a hike up the hill to the Rims and get a great view of the city while you're there.

This site is on a narrow strip of land adjacent to Airport Road. As I recall there is a marker telling the story of Boot Hill Cemetery. It's so rocky there it's hard to believe it was ever a cemetery!

This quick stop is a must see for anyone in Billings. It's tucked into a small hill between busy streets and businesses, but stands as it did more than a century ago. The monuments share the fascinating history of the place, and some general, some specific stories about who lays there as their final resting place. It's also the last link to the original settlement in the area, a century removed after the rise of nearby Billings.

All towns capitalize on what they have (however little), and this is an example of a tiny spot caught between a couple of the city's busiest streets that could use more attention to be really attractive.
