This is always a nice meal--consistant, tasty, served correctly with friendly help. Certainly not "5-star," as it's casual and the meals are pretty standard fare.
Three of us enjoyed the "Baseball Cut" sirloin, the fourth ordered a shrimp and scallop pasta. In each case, the steak was perfect--sizzleing, tender and tasty. The pasta was said to be a bit light on sauce and our companion said she found only two small scallops throughout. As she had leftovers, she requested a bit of additional sauce which the waiter brought without complaint.
A bottle of wine with dinner; oddly, priced at $15 on the menu, $19 on the wine menu. It was charged at the lower price, but we thought it strange.
Service was good, though we arrived very early as it was Prom night. We did have a question for the waiter that he was unable to answer and failed to accomplish, however it was very unexpected and as the restaurant was busy, we weren't unhappy with the inability to answer.
We finished the meal with two shared deserts. While the other couple enjoyed theirs, I don't remember what they ordered. My wife & I ordered the Blondie pie and were quite pleased.
Rib & Chop is always an excellent meal for a reasonable price. 4 nice entrees (HUGE baked potatos), bottle of wine, a mixed drink and two deserts=$120. Strongly recommended.
