“GREAT option in Big Fork!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

We stayed in the "Feathered Nest" cottage, since a Riverfront unit was not available during our stay, and we found it very comfortable. The property has a cute gazebo on the river we could enjoy since we didn't have the view from our porch and the cottage management let us do laundry in the office. Our cottage was very well appointed, super quiet, and very comfortable. I love the location, and the reserved shady parking spot, since the downtown Big Fork area was just 2 blocks away. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved the one bedroom cottage we rented. Quiet setting. The layout and furnishings were fantastic. A real homey feel. The location was perfect. We could easily walk (2 minutes) to the little town to shop, eat or see a show. The kitchen was well equipped. We would love to go back.

We loved everything about this place and the only regret is that we were only there for one night!!! We already want to go back. If we didn't live so far away (Maryland); we would have booked a room when we left. We stayed at the horseshoe cottage on the river. It is on a quiet little street, clean, has EVERYTHING you need; a little kitchen a VERY comfortable sofa and tv, table and 2 chairs for eating, fully stocked kitchen with everything including a Keurig, even a little washer and dryer! The bathroom has two sinks and very spacious. The bedroom has a REALLY comfortable bed and pillows, a tv and desk, the furnishings are just like something I would have picked for my house, so nice and very comfortable. The back deck was right on the water, and so private, the sound of the rushing water was loud and soothing, loved it. Large hanging flower baskets, plenty of chairs and a weber grill. It is a REAL quick walk to town, with tons of places to eat and shop. We could have easily stayed here a week and LOVED every minute of it. We were sad to leave, and will never forget this place.

Room Tip: Loved the Horseshoe room, right on the water!!!

I did not expect this..... This property is the combination of home, a bed and breakfast, and an incredible private property all rolled into one. We stayed for business, and we will be back for pleasure again. The property amazes all the way around, from the time you open the door and realize you have the warm inviting comforts of home (living room, and fully stocked kitchen) along with a huge bath/shower area with an incredibly comfortable bedroom. It is a wooded feel to the property and you step out of your private cottage to the smell of the northwest woods.

Let me start by saying First Impressions mean everything. We arrived after driving most the day and went to the office to retrieve our key. That is when we had the pleasure of meeting Erica. Even though the office was about to close, she never made us feel rushed. Now onto our cottage...it was one of those places that as soon as you walk in you immediately think to yourself PERFECT. Clean as a whistle, decorated with class, every amenity you could possibly think of and above all QUIET. The bed was so comfortable I asked Erica the next morning where the pillows were purchased. Even if you were not planning a trip to Bigfork, do so, Bridge Street Cottages does not disappoint!

Room Tip: The cottages on the river are incredible.

The Bridge Street Cottages are a perfect place to stay. Everything is wonderfully done and it makes the experience a memorable one. Nothing is missing- all that you need is right there in the cottage. The location is perfect- walking distance to restaurants and shops in Bigfork and close to a nature trail along the river. Although with such beautiful accommodations, why would you want to leave? We take advantage of the prices at the spring 1/2 off rates and enjoy a wonderful weekend!

Room Tip: We love the river front cottages- the sound of the river is hypnotic!

Arrived in Big Fork after 9:00 pm and were looking for somewhere reasonable to spend the night. Stumbled upon "The Cottages" through Trip Advisor. Although the office was closed, Erica came right down and provided us with a wonderful cottage for the night. It was beautifully decorated, and had all the amenties that we needed. Probably one of the nicest places we stayed during our vacation in Montana. Our only "complaint" if there was to be one, is that the bed wasn't our favorite as far as comfort. Many people like temprapedic (?) beds but not our favorite - however that was the only negative of the whole place! Highly recommend this place to others - it far surpassed our expectations.
