We rented a large fireplace suite. It was very basic but comfortable. It's a bit dated but is commensurate with the rate. My only complaint was the water. It was really cloudy and there is no way I'd use it to even brush my teeth. Luckily, there's a convenience store right next door so you can grab a bottle of water. The towels were nice and plus, and the units have dinnerware, glasses, etc.
The food in the restaurant was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The Sunday brunch was FABULOUS and very reasonably priced.
They had chocolates in the lobby. Yummy. Newspapers. The desk clerk helped us find a shop we were looking for. Very, very friendly.
Quiet and comfortable beds. (not the hide a bed; that was atrocious and we'd never sleep on it or put anyone else on it.)
We had a spectacular view of the lake. Perfect for a quiet, romantic couples weekend.
Not a 5 star hotel but definitely a 3 star.
