Beautiful mountain lake. Wildlife everywhere. Great fishing and hiking. Bring a jacket, it's cool at night in the summer.

amazing lake and super beautiful. Nice and relaxing. Try the Echo Lake Cafe for good grub too. Breakfast here and at the Buffalo (In Whitefish) is the best in the Valley by far!!!!!!!!!!!

Find out about the wake boarding academy on echo lake. My son took a lesson. It was great. Also fun to look around at the more advanced wake boarders. Loved swimming in the lake as well

I went kayaking here in May and was blown away by how beautiful it was. Very peaceful and lots of easy boating access.

You can't go wrong at breakfast or lunch, the food here is just darn good. A seat on the patio is the perfect place to dine, the little brook rushing behind you, no sweltering sun to send you seeking air conditioning. The eggs benedict are superior to any I've had -- ask for the 'veggie' potatoes no mater what you order. They are home fries with peppers, mushrooms, onions, cheese -- well worth an extra mile on the treadmill. The service is friendly yet professional. You'll feel like a local by the time you leave!
