I can't say enough about this place - great menu choices, extremely attentive and professional staff, great wine list and cocktail/martini list. Steaks were cooked precisely as ordered and were amazing. Mac cheese side one of the best I've ever had. Perfect fresh
vegetables. Try the appetizer sampler with all the great olives, hummus, goat cheese, artichokes, etc. This place will not disappoint.

Had lunch and 2 dinners here. All people in our party were impressed. The game choices are outstanding. We all had burgers one afternoon which were fantastic. It's a great old place with a motel attached. Bar service A+.

We enjoyed the view while having the local trout and game meatloaf. Our waiter was very personable and made an effort to keep our 8 year old happy and entertained.

The atmosphere, service and quality of food was excellent. The calamari and pheasant quesadillas were fabulous as starters. The trout was a 4 out of 5, the elk chop was excellent but skip te BBQ ribs. The skillet cookie and huckleberry ice cream topped off a great meal. Call early to get reservations. Bonus is re game room for the kids while you wait for dinner!

We stayed here as a family and got to sample and try a bit of each other's food. Everything, and I mean *everything*, was top notch and worth trying. It's hard to detach the restaurant experience from the lodge as well. The restaurant is top tier, but it's even better if you're staying a couple nights to get the full experience from breakfast to the outdoor fire and drinks at night. If you're passing through for a meal, you'll want to come back. If you're sticking around, you might want to extend your stay. Well worth it!
