Blue Moon was reccommended by the staff at Big Sky and after a long day of hiking, were looking for a place that delivered. We ordered appetizers and pizza from a friendly and helpful employee...everything was delicious and delivered in a reasonable time!

Cool bakery / sandwich shop with original formulations ("Veggie Attack" was my fave) and good (not great) pizza (worth ordering - don't expect Manhattan bliss - but it certainly exceeded what I expected for a Montana mountain pie; by the way, they seem to like to cook their cheese pizzas beyond what one normally sees, but that's their thing I guess; still tasted good!). Also serves beer (bottled and on tap). Great spot for lunch after morning fly fishing, whitewater or mountain biking. Accessible at the base of Lone Mountain. Staff was a mix of responsible and "stoner", but it's a ski town spot, so what do you expect? One doesn't receive one's food lickety - split, but it's not McDonalds, and again, it's a SKI TOWN (i.e. laid back; drink your beer and wait!). Baked goods, including good sour dough, excellent blueberry bagels and a variety of sweets made on the premises were a plus.

The sweets were great! But when i walked up to order the guy said in a rude tone "ya, what do you want?" I just didn't feel very welcomed. But the food was good!

The sweets are off the chain!! MUST try the rice krispy treat!! BUT the sandwiches are overrated. There was nothing special about the sandwiches. Plus 20 minutes after ordering, the guy had to come ask me what meat I wanted on my sandwich as well as having the wrong name on our order. But other than that, it was a good place to eat.

We ordered delivery and were told 45 min. like other reviews and got it in about 35 min. They did not include anything besides food - like plates, napkins, or silverware (we were in a hotel room)!! Would have liked pepper flakes and parm for the pizza. The cheese pizza was terrible - way over cooked - the cheese was very dark, almost black! The spinach salad was good but the balsamic vinegar had too much vinegar.

DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT FROM HERE!!!
