We asked around and the word was to try this place. It was fine meal. Elk is lean, but interesting. My wife had the medallions while my son and I had a chop. Sauce really fit the meat and added some good flavor. Good choice of wine by the glass.

“Best restaurant in Big Sky”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 17, 2013

It doesn't get better than The Cabin when you're in Big Sky. This is the best restaurant up there, meadow village and mountain village combined. Excellent steaks, wild game, fish, soups, and desserts. A great place to stop for lunch while skiing, and a perfect place for dinner. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended.

“Great food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 10, 2013

Great local food, good service, we really enjoyed our dinner here. Although the restaurant was not busy there was a good atmosphere and the staff were friendly. Not so easy to find until you know where it is, but it is well worth seeking out.

“Great Meal”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 7, 2013

My first timeat this restaurant and I was very pleased with our dinner. We had a great baked Brie with an amazing tenderloin. It was cooked to perfection. There are not a lot of choices For dinner on te mountain and this is a great addition.
