“Amazing two days on Big Sky skiing.”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

Well six of us just got back from skiing moonlight and big sky. What a trip of a lifetime. We had great accomidations in Moonlight and could jump on a lift right there to take us over to big sky. Our first day on big sky was just the best conditions in the world as it had snowed almost 8inches overnight. The runs were full of dry powder and it was just out of this world. The mountain had everything from awesome long green runs to super hard double black. A few very experienced snowboarders/skiers rode the tram up to the peak and headed down into one of the many powder bowls. They said it was an experience of a life time.

Anyway all in all the experience at big sky is out of this world!

“Too cold!”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

We love Big Sky and the snow was awesome but below zero temperatures put a damper on our ski plans We explored shopping in the meadow and enjoyed the locale.

“Mountain Sky and Endless Scenery”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

I have never skied in Montana and only visited it every summer. We always ski every year either in Utah or Colorado. The main reason that we have never tried Montana is because we thought it was always too cold. It has great priced skiing and ski in and out properties. they are so convenient that if you do get cold you can stop and warm up. We found that the weather was better than we thought. We definitely will return to this resort.

“Great Skiing”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

We were in Big Sky between Christmas and New Year's and I thought we had good snow. The snow was so soft and rarely was there any ice, even in the morning after grooming. The resort staff are very friendly. It is a big resort so it takes time to explore all of the terrain. Some of the greens and blues were a bit more difficult than I thought they were marked (we've skied previously at Heavenly, Steamboat, Park City, and Deer Valley). Some of the signage on the mountain isn't the best compared to other resorts, but we had a wonderful time. The restaurants at the base were good and we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of food.
