We have just come back from a couple of weeks in Montana and we stayed here on our first and last nights as it is very convenient for the airport.
I can highly recommend this hotel. We got an excellent rate on the internet and it was more than worth it. The staff were very friendly and efficient, the rooms were very clean with all the amenities you would need (hair dryer, coffee maker, iron etc). We had a great breakfast - hot and cold food, as much as you liked and cookies in the afternooon.
We had our own hire car so getting out wasn't a problem (the McKenzie River Co. pizza restaurant in Belgrade was first class) but the Country Kitchen restaurant next door is okay if you don't have your own transport.
I would definitely stay here again.

I always stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels as I typically find them to be clean, newly renovated and comfortable. This particular Holiday Inn Express rooms were not as nice as I'm accustomed too. The TV was old and the room was very small and overlooked a trailer park however I must say it was clean and comfortable once I settled in. The common areas of the hotel are nice however I do believe this hotel needs to continue with a few more renovations in order to be up to par with other Express branded hotels. The first room I checked into had a broken window that would not lock, so I was moved to another room that had a functioning window lock.

The staff was also very friendly and there was always an assortment of teas and coffee on hand. I did not have the opportunity to partake in the continental breakfast because I checked out early, however they did have some fix it yourself items out like yogurt and bagels which was a nice touch.

The location of the hotel is not too great unless you need to be near the airport; in that case you are only 1.5 miles away. There really aren't any restaurants near by except for fast food and a Country Kitchen next door. If you do not have an early flight out in the morning as I did you’d probably prefer being closer in town where there are more restaurants and amenities near your hotel.

All in all it's a decent hotel and if the price were right, I'd probably stay there again.

Close to Bozeman, Gallatin Field airport, but beware the hotel shuttle stops at 11pm sharp, and if you are waiting for bags to be offloaded from a late flight (ours arrived at 10.30pm) you will likely miss the last shuttle. This will result in having to book a cab and "All Valley Cabs" are rather slow and unreliable. Also beware of other passengers taking your cab!

The hotel was basic, but clean and the bed was comfortable. Our friends were less lucky than us and had very noisy neighbours. Eventually the front desk staff sorted the problem out, but no sleep after a long flight from England did not endear the hotel to them.

Breakfast buffet was average, with the hot food really no more than luke warm, but plentiful supplies of juice, coffee, cereal and bagels.

Belgrade, Montana, does not have a lot of choices when it comes to motels. However, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express for its friendliness, comfort, clean rooms, and great value for the money. I stayed there during the off-season and the room rate was fantastic. The room itself was extremely clean and nice, albeit crowded with too much furniture. The bathroom likewise was very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable one I've slept on in a budget motel. The complimentary breakfast was great and had just about anything you could want to eat except maybe pancakes and waffles; seriously, it had cinnamon rolls, sausage, eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, and more.

I will definitely stay here again in the future when visiting family in the Belgrade area.

Don't expect much entertainment in Belgrade, Montana. But if you are looking for a clean and comfortable room, plenty of parking space, a nice free breakfast in the morning, and not too far from Yellowstone NP, consider this Holiday Inn Express.

I think this is a pretty typical HI Express property. Rooms were clean with standard amenities. The breakfast was good (for once i managed to avoid the cinnamon rolls!) There is a free computer for guest use by the reception desk, and it even has a printer which is a nice touch. I didn't try the wireless access in the room they also have a reasonably priced guest laundry.

This probably isn't the best choice if you want to hang out in Bozeman, b/c there are a number of similar hotels right in Bozeman that would be more convenient. but if you've just flown in and don't want to make the drive down to Yellowstone, this is muchy better than what you will find in Big Sky in this price range.

If you're restricted to staying in Belgrade, this is a good choice... mostly skiers and others bound for nearby mountains fill the place, clearing out after the (included) continental breakfast that included muffins and gravy... clean, helpful, efficient staff, adequate rooms, good hi speed internet, quiet... an ok family restaurant in walking distance... Belgrade is up and coming, with the rapid growth in the Gallatine Valley, but not really ready for prime time.. would go extra distance and stay in Bozeman next time..
