We were a group of four couples from Cuenca and Salinas. The accommodations are roomy, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Our suite was approximately 400 square feet with a wall olass facing the beach, gorgeous view overlooking the infinity pool .Lovely sunsets to be enjoyed while sipping a cold beer or a glass of wine with the owners, Marsha and Shell. Wonderful welcoming people who are so entertaining. They treat you like family and toured our group around in their van with great knowledge of the surrounding area. The villa is located 5 miles from the crazy, funky, "must see" town of Montanita. Breakfast is included and is a wonderful mix of fresh fruit, eggs, pastries of all sorts (one of the best bakeries in Ecuador is located within walking distance of the villa). We are so happy to have met Marsha and Shell and delighted to have new and interesting friends. Only thing now, is when can we go back?

Villa de Los Suenos is a beautiful property with hosts that treat you like friends or family. Marsha and Shell made us feel welcome from the time we arrived. They provided directions, assistance with leisure activities and advice on where to go and what to see. But with all there is to do, lying in the hammocks, playing in the pool, and sitting in the hot tub, all with spectacular views of the ocean was what we enjoyed most.

A beautiful spot on a gorgeous coastline! I am not sure if it was our 1st or 2nd day but it wasn't long after we were there and we asked "Can we stay one more night?" Shell and Marsha are the most gracious hosts anyone could ask for. They are so friendly and welcoming. They open their home to you and make you feel right at home! The property is very well maintained and the rooms were more than we expected in every aspect! Great pool with the perfect chairs in it for catching rays!! We were there with another couple and we had the whole 2nd floor to ourselves so it seemed very private for a bed & breakfast. It was perfect! The breakfasts - well not many words are needed - delicious, scrumptious, and yummy! How many pastries can one person eat? A lot! The B & B is located close to Montanito where you can go for some "action" and come back for some relaxation. The bus stops right at the gate! We were renting a house in Porta Lopez and this was a great place to stay to see a little more of Ecuador and all it has to offer! I would higly recommend this to friends and relatives! Thanks Shell & Marsha!

Shell & Marsha went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and felt welcome. We have been to many places around the world and count these accommodations among the best. Shell even offered to drive us into town, Montanita a few times while he was running errands and even showed us an available home for sale. If you want quiet accommodations with a beautiful beach view and pool with spa and a very friendly Lab to play with this is the place. We decided to settle in Cuenca and have been here since 10-10-13.

Room Tip: We stayed on the third floor just below the covered public BBQ area & viewing platform. There was a hammock & wide porch for both rooms however the other room was vacant. Nice views.

I'm not sure what more you could ask for from any type of lodging. This place had it all. A fantastic view of the Pacific Ocean from 3 stories up, hosts that would do anything to make your stay memorable and big clean rooms with all of the fixtures. We stayed here for only two nights at the end of a two week trip throughout Ecuador. Shell and Marsha were fantastic and they even cooked for us one night and we ate fresh fish and shrimp together in their dining room! Breakfast is fantastic and is served on the patio overlooking the ocean. We even saw a whale breech one morning which is unusual for the start of November.I cannot forget Choco, the energetic chocolate lab who will accompany you wherever you go on the property or on the beach. He loves his rocks and will leave them at your door so you don't forget him! The hotel is situated in a very small "town" about 15 minutes by bus from the craziness of Montanita. You are able to catch a bus right outside of the house and for .50 US per person, you can get right to Montanita. It is very quiet and a great place to come to to get away from it all. Sitting in the hot tub is a great way to end the day or spend the day when it is cloudy and a bit cooler. I can't imagine staying at a place where the hosts are better than Marsha and Shell. They truely are good people. We really hope to be able to stay here again. It is a bit of a long way from GUY, but if you have the money, opt to use the driver they suggest. He is very prompt and a very nice man. If you speak Spanish, even better as he will explain everything you see on the way to Entrada.

Room Tip: Keep in mind, there are 3 levels with a lot of stairs. They have someone that will help you with your bags, but if you have difficutly negotiating stairs, you may want to re-think this location.
