8 girls (cousins) made our Fall trip to The Hiding Place in Warrenton, MO in late August. It was the first time that we had stayed with Keith and Debbie. We LOVED the pool and patio/deck area and spent most of our time out there. Ceiling fan kept us cool and comfortable with a large table to gather and read, chat, eat. The pool was clean and well kept by Keith. Debbie served us wonderful breakfasts that were filling but not over the top. Her fresh fruit salads were marvelous. We had the whole house to ourselves and I would suggest that you do the same. The second floor in the house had one bathroom for 2 or 3 bedrooms to share. There was a large loft area above the garage that had a king bed, bathroom, and was a good spot for us to watch the many DVD movies that they provided. We played games at the dining table in the evening. We had privacy but Debbie and Keith were available to us any time. Movie theater within 5 minutes drive from the B/B, Walmart, shopping and restaurants that you could walk to in town. We will return for sure!

Room Tip: If you want privacy, ask for the loft room above the garage.

Six of us girls traveled here for a bachelorette weekend. Debbi and Keith were both extra accommodating to our group (we had the entire house pretty much). Clean rooms, great decor, the pool and hot tub were fantastic for a relaxing weekend. Debbi's breakfast was top notch. The hosts were very good about recommending places for dinner and visiting. Great place just outside of Hermann with very affordable prices. Would highly recommend to any group headed that way!

I wanted to get away with my honey for a day and, after doing some research, chose The Hiding Place. Debbi was so warm and open with us and she was so accommodating. The deck there overlooks the beautifully landscaped backyard, complete with a hot tub and pool. We really enjoyed our room (The Loft) because we had privacy and, like the other rooms, it was nicely decorated. We got to enjoy the spa later in the evening-it was wonderful. The weather wasn't exactly good for swimming, but hopefully we can go back when it's hot and take advantage of the pool. For breakfast the next day, Debbi served biscuits and gravy with a fruit salad-everything was delicious.
I really wish that we could have stayed two days, but maybe next time (because I DO plan on returning) Thank you SO MUCH, Debbi!

I stayed 5 nights while attending a class and it was perfect. Debbie and everyone else staying made it a family away from home. Breakfast every morning was delicious and Debbie even picked up wines from a local winery for me to take back to my family. Everything was PERFECT! I will stay again and will always keep in touch with Debbie who is now family!

The home is an updated bungalow with all the charm of the original home. My room was lovely and comfortable with large attached bath. The breakfasts were delicious and the owner was very kind and accomidating. Would recommend it when traveling to along the Missouri river.

I stayed there for 5 days while attending a class in town. Debbie was the perfect hostess. My room was beautiful, the bed was comfy and walking distance to a great restaurant/bar. Debbie cooked a wonderful breakfast and was VERY accommodating to all her guests' special requests (gluten-free, veggie, etc). I would definitely stay again and would recommend this b&b to anyone who asked. Thanks Debbie for taking such wonderful care of us!

Room Tip: I stayed in the room above the garage. It is BEAUTIFUL, and offers a bit more privacy than the room...

I stayed here for four weeks while on business.
It was a perfect set-up. Comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. Beautiful pool and great hot tub, plus welcoming deck made this a great place to wind down after a day's work. This is a great place whether you are working, enjoying nearby Hermann's wine country, or going into St. Louis for the evening.

Room Tip: I liked the downstairs bedroom the best because of the ultra-spacious bathroom and dressing room.
