We visited the Wild Animal Safari this weekend, and it was awesome! Drove our own car but taking the Safari bus would of been great as well. Nice gift shop, personable workers, and the animals are just amazing! We really liked the Walkabout, many interesting animals, and then we drove out over the acres, laughing so much at the various animals who stuck their head in our windows. This was the highlight of our weekend, and certainly worth the money. We will do this whenever we get down to that area!

At first it doesn't seem like this park will be much, but stop in the snack shop and buy a bag of feed and get ready to have fun. We started with the 'walk about' and saw the animals they had in cages. There were plenty of goats to feed and even a giraffe that will come and eat out of your hand. If you have never fed a giraffe before you have to try it, their tongues are amazing.

You have a choice between driving yourself through the safari or riding on their bus. If you drive yourself you do have the option to stop as long as you like to snap pictures from your car. We chose not to risk any possible damage to our car and took the bus. I'm glad we did because the driver was able to give us information about the animals, told lots of corny jokes, and kept the fun going. The bus has been converted to make the windows larger, there is no glass in the windows and you get better access to the animals. Many of them stuck their heads right in the bus, it was a lot of fun. The place is large and the grounds are nice with a wide variety of animals. I would go again without hesitation.

The drive thru portion of the park was great. We bought 4 bags of food and fed it all. We made sure to keep some food in case we needed a quick get away :). All the animals were well fed and healthy. We were very pleased. It was a great attraction. If you are afraid of getting some slobbers on your car be sure to ride the bus. We had severe slobbers on all car windows. An overly friendly Zonkey decided he wanted more to eat than what I would feed him and decided to bite down on my car mirror. So just watch the Zonkeys close!

This was our second visit, was much better than the first. Giraffe was amazing... weather was great...Zebras were favorites as well. tons of animals came up to our car... lots more than our last visit. Recommend buying at least 8 bags of food, maybe even 1 or 2 more...worth it for the smiles it brings.

There were some caged animals at the beginning. The best part is the the drive-thru. You can ride in their bus or drive your own car. There were a large variety of animals including zebras, bison, deer, donkey, long horns, emu which came up to our car. Our children (2,7) seemed to really enjoy it.
