Craig & Beckie Chandler are the best host and hostess we have ever encounter in a chain hotel. The personal care was outstanding. Every little concern we had was handled efficiently and friendly. Sparkling clean in every aspect. They treated us like family and we felt like we had made new friends by the end of our visit. The breakfast they served was outstanding. In the evening we had some new friends come to sing and play guitars for us. Craig made everything just flow so smoothly making room for us in the cafe area. All of us agreed that the DAYS INN experience was at the top of our list while we did our convey of Red Hatters through the Carthage and Springfield MO trip. A special thanks to the Chandlers!

Stayed here 17 days while helping family with health issues. Home-owned, an American couple living on the premises. They are hands-on, always available, and that's why this motel is head and shoulders above all others at almost half the price of other Springfield motels I've stayed in for the past five years. Staff is friendly, helpful, and informative.

We only stayed one night, but it was great. On our morning breakfast at the motel the owner greated everyone and even help serve us with food by making us a great waffle and answered our questions.

Dear Folks, Thanks for your nice comments! I look at it just like you do. I want to find a place to stay that I can trust to be clean, comfortable and affordable. As long as they can provide that, I found a great spot that I will continue to use. We have built a nice business because of that commitment and thanks to folks like you, we continue to be successful. Thanks, Craig.

The staff of Days Inn are incredibly nice and friendly. They received us with a great smile, very helpfull and helped us pick a nice restaurant , because we didn't know the area. The down side of the hotel was only the bed. The pillows were very uncomfortable and I woke up with a headache. Besides that, a great stay for the price!

Dear folks, Thanks for the nice comments about your stay. I couldn't help notice the discomfort that you experienced with the pillows. First of all, I'm sorry for that. I'm wondering if you called down to the front desk at all? We might have been able to bring you some different ones. We normally keep thinner pillows available in the event of this kind of request as the pillows in the rooms are of larger size according to the Days Inn requirements. There is nothing worse than a headache after a night's sleep. Forgive us for that. I do appreciate your kind words, Craig, Beckie and the staff.

A rare jewel in the hotel world. Staff (including housekeeping) was consistently pleasant and attentive. Just can't think of a single reason you should stay anywhere else.

This is the closest you will ever find to a Bed & Breakfast in a chain motel. The owner lives on the premises and delighted us in personally giving us a choice of three different flavors of waffles, and proceeded to cook our order himself. If you don't like waffles, you have your choice of six different cold cerials, which delighted my grandkids. Everything else about my visit here was 5-star. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the room was without fault. There is a large grocery store adjacent to the site, complete with a large deli, cafe, and even a Starbucks. The motel is also located near Hiway 65, but far enough away to eliminate distracting road noise. Thanks, Craig, for a wonderful visit.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Days Inn on our third leg of the Route 66 journey.

Check-in was made easy by the receptionist, Nick, who was very friendly. He also refused to accept a tip when he went our of his way to bring an ironing board to our room.

The room was clean and spacious and if anything was needed, all we had to do was ask. We relaxed by the pool in the afternoon, which was a nice treat after travelling all day.

For the evening meal we were recommended a grill restaurant nearby, which served great food.

Breakfast was superb, with lots of choice, and the owner went out of his way to make sure every need was catered for - including making tasty waffles.

We enjoyed our time at the Days Inn and would like to mention that Nick is a great asset to this hotel.
