“Old Fashioned Sodas!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 6, 2013

I really liked how they have the old Fashioned sodas. I think they are hard to find and it is nice to see somewhere still selling them. It was nice to go there at night, since it was lit up very bright in a neighborhood that looked a bit like it could be unsafe. I was visiting my daughter at college so it was a nice treat to sit in the car and spend time sipping sodas.

“Good but way too expensive”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2013 via mobile

I can't believe what they charge when you can go to Dairy Queen or Braums for much less and better flavor. Nice atmosphere and friendly but too expensive for a family.

“Not the best but very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

I'm a sucker for good ice cream and custard and based on the reviews I found my way to this place on a business trip. I have never seen such a spotless establishment or such an efficient wait staff. Man they were quick! Expect to use the drive through or walk up because there are no inside tables, but they have thoughfully installed outside heaters so you do not get cold waiting outside. I had the Butter Pecan Concrete and I could taste the butterscotch topping they used, but it could have used more pecans.

“Have to try Frozen Custard…worth the stop”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 10, 2013

Andy's is an icon in Springfield. It is frozen custard…which is thick rich creamy ice cream (but the recipe actually contains eggs). There are two flavors-vanilla or chocolate. But then Andy's will whip into the custard strawberries, local Askinose chocolate, blueberries, brownies, kit kats, cookie dough, you name it, and call it a "concrete". They also have sundays-like straw-anna (strawberry banana), and hot fudge brownie, and seasonal mix -ins like blackberries, or minty green monster etc. So yummy and fun. Worth the stop.

“YUMMM!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2013

The first time I ever had Andy's Frozen Custard (which was my first time eating frozen custard) I got the James Brown Jack Hammer and it was to die for! Very rich but so delicious. I've been to Andy's several times since and have had a wide variety of items from there, never being disappointed. My husband is especially fond of the hot apple pie sundae. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who is in Springfield and want a sweet treat.
