We always love coming here, the location is not out of the way, yet you get the woodsy feeling of being farther away from the city. Trails are nicely kept and on a cooler morning you can see the deer in the woods or near the water, as we did this time. Great place to get a little exercise and not tie up a lot of time getting there.

Nice spot for a short hike. Longest trail is 2 miles. Everything is clean and well maintained. Not the most strenuous of hikes, but if you looking for somewhere to spend an hour or so this is a good spot.

I did not visit the Welcome Center during my visit, but we did walk the Long Trail, which was wonderful. The scenery was very pretty and mostly shaded, which made it even more pleasant. If you're going to jog, they limit the hours in which you can jog (which seems weird). There are no pets or bicycles allowed, so don't expect to be able to bring your pup on the walk with you. overall, it was an awesome experience and we will definitely be back many times to enjoy the trails.

They have several educational exhibits for kids and we all liked watching the turkeys and other wild animals through the glass. They also have nice walking trails. And it is all free.

The trails at the nature center are a great way to get exercise, while enjoying some fresh air. The inside of the building hasn't changed since I was 6....I'm 27 now! They have puppets that your kids can play with and a few turtles to look at. I recommend going in the fall to see the gorgeous fall scenery.
