“Kite Festival”

Nature at its best.... The far east brought to Springfield, MO., for us to enjoy. I have been to Japan in fact lived in Japan and this brought a whole lot of memories and I long to go back to Japan. This is as close as it gets and I enjoyed it immensely. The small tea-house is really nice and the wooden bridge was really cool too. This a place to come and visit you can't go wrong even saw some cherry blossoms and they are so pretty like the ones I remember in Japan.... home a way from home.... come and enjoy the far east.....

“Lovely place”
Reviewed October 5, 2013

We visited the stroll garden on a fall afternoon. It cost $3 per person to get in an $1 for a big of fish food. Walking around the stroll garden was beautiful. There was a waterfall and a pond that made it even more lovely. The pond had many Koi fish; it was fun to feed them because they all came quickly. The only downside was having to watch where you step because there are geese that roam around and make a bit of a mess of the sidewalks.

“A great escape”
Reviewed August 29, 2013

I love to stroll through the gardens in the spring and fall. The only downside is you have to pay an entry fee into the park. However, the bike and walking trails are safe and they lead all around the city. It's a fun place to escape to every now and then.
